What color polarized lenses give the best vision for anglers? I have really dark lenses in my Oakley Flak Jackets but early in the morning or in the evening they are basically useless. Will any other colors give me better vision in lower light conditions? Thanks.

I have black iridium polarized lenses in all 5 pair of my Oakleys. Been wanting to try some Titanium Iridium in my Flaks, but seems that only the KVD Series Flaks come with those lenses and aren't sold separately.

Amber might help. You can go to Cabela's and on any page for sunglasses you can click on the Buyer's guide and read what they have to say on lens color and other things.

In the June Bassmaster magazine, Skeet Reese was asked what color he'd choose if he could have just one color and he said amber. Of course, that's just one person's opinion.

Amber strike king. I fished an overcast sky Sunday and it made it seem brighter out. I could see bluegill chasing each other in the grass.

I have the SK S11 Atlantic in amber. Awesome glasses that wont empty your wallet. Highly recommend them. I prefer amber because they're effective in all lighting conditions. Even at dusk you can see pretty well into shallow water.

amber/copper are good for low light....grey and brown are pretty good for high light

If I could only choose one color for all time use it would be amber hands down.

Offshore I use grey, inshore and freshwater it's amber.  Wearing prescriptions and usually starting before dawn flips ups work best for me.  I'm always flipping them up or down depending where the sun is, sometimes I see better without them depending on the light angle the water can look too dark.

What do you guys do if you have to wear prescription eye glasses?

Cocoons. Check them out , they fit over your prescriptions.
