Jig Storage

I am starting to collect more and more jigs and have become somewhat addicted to buying them. I am running out of room in the regular utility boxes with dividers. I have seen falcon makes a jig box but cannot find it to buy. I have also seen some people put their jigs in the Plano spinnerbait. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for storing jigs. Thanks in advance

Normally, i just take what i know im going to want on the boat, for that particular day or time oof year. The rest stay home in the 3700

I have given away 2 falcon boxes cause it really didn't do that well IMO , and forget footballs in the thing.

 

I now use the deeper 3700s.

I carry 1 3700 box with 9 or 10 "ready" jigs, already assembled with trailer on, weed guard trimmed, etc.

I carry several other 3700 boxes of components that I can assemble should I not like anything I've pre-assembled.   Don't ask how I know this but don't use any heavily salted plastic trailers on your ready rigs.

I use a 3700 but  I need a deep one to fit more. Im getting too many jigs as well

I detest storing jigs in boxes for any length of time. Weed guards get deformed, and bent. I store all of my jigs in the small zip lock bags they come with in a XL Plano without dividers. I put them in larger zip locks by size and by color to separate them. Jigs I am going to take if I am fishing with a partner go in a 3700, max of about six each. After each outing, anything not used comes out of that box back into the zip locks.

I bought a Falcon jig box and love it. I'd like to get 3-4 more.

I don't use but 3-4 football head jigs and they fit, kinda snug but good. The rest of my jigs stay in the plastic baggies NSCB puts them in placed in my wall.

I've got a couple Falcon boxes that work great for me.

I use the Flambeau Z-rust boxes that are about the same size as the Plano 3600's. One for flipping jigs, one for finesse jigs, one for football jigs, one for swimming jigs. Sorted by size and color in the boxes. Extra jigs are kept in there packages in a Rubbermaid tote at home, and I restock the boxes as certain items dwindle. Simple, cheap, effective.

Plano makes a 3700 flipsider box that should work well with jigs.
