GoneFishi'n Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 I'm thinking that they might start moving towards beds this week because of how the water temperature might get up in the high 50's. Its a big pond with weeds in it. Would you think top water would be good when this starts happening like a spro frog? Or should I use a swim jig or a crank bait along weed lines? Any help would be great, thanks Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 9, 2013 Global Moderator Posted March 9, 2013 I love a spinnerbait in shallow, weedy ponds right around spawning time. I hate fishing them but a Senko is a great bait for big bass around that time too. Pitch it around the edges of the weeds and into any holes in the weeds. Quote
