has anyone used these over bedding bass? seems like a great idea

At the lake I fish I saw a guy using the smaller version of the Giron and plucked some fish off their beds.  So I dont doubt its effectiveness, actually I would like to get 2 of them one regular sized one and the other being the smaller version. Just dont have the money for them right now.

I don't believe they Giron in two sizes. Must have been another bait?

Only comes in 4". Great action and sits upright on bottom. Fish aren't on beds here yet but I will be giving it a try for sure.

Very cool.  I might have to pull the trigger.

As for the regular Giron, I don't know, I'm guess I'm not a big fan.  A lot of people love it, maybe I just need to spend some more time fishing this bait.  I'm not sold on the action...a little to stiff for me.  Again, perhaps some more time.

I couldn't agree more! X2 everything you just said! action is stiff and not a big fan, but i need to give it more time i bought it early last year

I'm not a big Giron fan.  I actually think it's too small to pose a threat to a large bedding female. The action looks robotic too. I could see its use over emerging vegetation; that sounds promising.

I'll stick to Mattlures bluegills.  You just can't beat the realism of those baits.
