Super User Felix77 Posted February 19, 2013 Super User Posted February 19, 2013 Simple do you want to spend more time paddling or more time casting? Quote
Diggy Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Id pick the battery but you may have a new reel and end up like this Quote
Super User new2BC4bass Posted February 19, 2013 Super User Posted February 19, 2013 I'd get the reel. X2 But then I sometimes do instead of paying a bill. Quote
Super User Teal Posted February 19, 2013 Super User Posted February 19, 2013 Id pick the battery but you may have a new reel and end up like this Lmbo! Only if he gets the reel and a side of 'roids. Quote
fowlskies Posted February 19, 2013 Author Posted February 19, 2013 HA! That guy could get my boat up on plane faster than my motor. Quote
fowlskies Posted February 27, 2013 Author Posted February 27, 2013 Well...I ended up buying the Citica 200e tonight. I got a $10 off a $50 purchase coupon the other day and couldn't pass it up. With 10% off the clearance price and another $10 off of that I walked out with the reel for a little over $60. I still have about $30 left over towards a battery, so I'll save a little bit up and should be able to buy a battery by the time the water softens up or shortly there after. I'm going to pair it up with the Falcon Bucoo I got for $25. Not a bad little combo for $85. Quote
fl_bass Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Congrats, at least you still have a few bucks left over to go to the battery and a good deal to boot Quote
Super User kickerfish1 Posted February 27, 2013 Super User Posted February 27, 2013 That is a killer deal! Looks like things worked out, allowing you to get both your needs (battery & anchor) and wants (new rod and reel) ... or do I have that backwards! For what you paid for that outfit I think you will be very pleased. Now if you can find a good deal on the battery and anchor you will be all set. Quote
fowlskies Posted February 27, 2013 Author Posted February 27, 2013 Ha...snuck the anchor in the grocery order last week while we were at Walmart, the battery is all that is needed now. Quote
