This happened about 15 miles from my home. I feel so horrible for the bus drivers family and the family of the child being held hostage. Just wanted to make you guys aware of another case of a lunatic with a gun. This is becoming all to common. Something has got to change.

Man I'm sorry. Is the child safe? It doesn't say. Nor is the man in custody?

No man this is an on going thing I guess they r negotiating with the suspect now. He is still held up in his home made bunker with the kid as we speak. They haven't released anything yet but I'm praying the kid is okay. Its a 6 year old little boy.

It's not gun control - it is mental health control.

Don't get me started.

Let's keep politics out of the discussion, and pray for a safe resolution.

The guy was due in court today for menacing his neighbors. That is the only thing the police can come up with as a motive. I guess he was trying to delay the inevitable, but he as made things much worse. The man is still held up in the bunker with the boy. They are saying it could go on for days.

In case you guys are wondering the hostage situation is still at the same place it was last time I updated you. I think its made national news now though so your probably already caught up on this.

Hopefully the "suspect" caught a sucking chest wound and went slow. Im so happy the child is back with his family.

I read negociations went downhill as of yesterday and the FBI felt it time to act appropiatly, but it didn't say what transpired. I guess better late than never, but maybe they should have acted much earlier. They knew he was a whackjob from the start.

When I first heard it was over and the mark was deceased. They said they had seen him holding a gun and felt the child may be in danger so the took the mark out. I figured a Fed sniper had pinged off his head. About an hour later the news down here said. When they saw the mark holding the gun, they tossed in a flashbang and a team went in and took the mark down.
