I recently read on a different forum that Keystone beer is going to be a FLW sponsor.  In the past, I got ragged at by BFL middle management for having a beer, after the tournament was over but prior to the conclusion of the weigh-in. (which, given my tournament results, I had little interest in)

Anyway, it is one of those things that make me say "huh?"   Can you have a beer at the weigh in now?  Knowing how anal FLW is about sponsor protection, what if it is some other brand than Keystone?

Will they be distributing complimentary Keystones?  Can I lower my beer standards to actually drink one?  Stay tuned.  I think lots of people are going to have lots of different opinions on this.

LOL nice post. I would think drinking keystone is along the lines of gator aid and water. It is probably very cold and hydrating while tasting nothing like beer. Seems ok to me, pass the keystone around.

Guiness sponsers my rugby league. We also have a bar sponsering the team. Ice cold brews after the games and at the after party. If that beer dont look like coffee it doesnt get drunk.

Starhill is right in the capital city of VA, good stuff man, their red ale is killer and it is on tap at allthe local spots up in front royal, marshal, winchester. ledos and fosters.

I tell u too, if your in Winchester/Stephens city VA area, check out the Alamo Tap House and Theater. You get your seat in the movie theater at a bar and u have a menu with all kinds of craft beers, micro brews and a full bar, fresh baked cookies and awesome cheesie fries. Waitress brings it to you while you enjoy the show with the old lady.

Free beer is never bad.

Complimentary Keystones sounds like a good sales pitch for a large crowd.

I am in Winchester a lot, they have a Gander Mountain store there, I used to frequent bars and resturants in the area.

I have tried other brews over my many, many years as a professional beer drinker, all I ever drink is Budweiser, I can not even find it in any of the resturants any more and most bars no longer offer it, the only offering is Bud lite, even the local beer stores won't carry quarts of Bud anymore, it's all this dark beer and weird stuff now, I don't care for brews other than the crisp clean taste of Budweiser, I can't begin to tell you all how many different beers I have tried in my life time, for me I have a refined pallet for only one beer it seems.

I do enjoy the idea of being able to sit at a bar eating cheesie fries and soakin a cold Bud or 10, but does it have to include the ol lady? LOL !!!

I hear you, we all have that one that is our favorite. No matter what my go to is yuengling if there isn't something interesting to try.....and yes it is sad when light or is it lite beers are the only ones bars carry.

That theater is at the exit you get off 81 for gander except you go towards stephens city instead. I liked that area my only complaint with was to find a decent job in my industry I had to drive an hour and a half each way, chantilly and manassas where the two offices I worked at it sucked.
