Baddy Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Has anyone use these? I picked up a pack in the bluegill pattern for 10$. What rigging options are working best for this I'm assuming drop shot. Quote
Bass Junkie Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Here is a video Cody Meyer did on drop-shotting it. It also could be wacky rigged, or threaded on a jig head with good results Quote
Lunker7 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 That looks like a really cool bait I just might have to get my hands on a pack of those. Quote
WCCT Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 A little to expensive for my taste. It looks like a very good bait, but I will stick with the Panic Minnow Dropswim when I need a realistic minnow on the dropshot. Quote
Super User Felix77 Posted December 31, 2012 Super User Posted December 31, 2012 Picked up a pack at last years BassPro Fishing Classic. Saw it demo'd in the tank and had to buy. Forgot which one I bought off hand. Think it was a ghost something (grey with a black back type). It's all about the drop shot with this. #2 and the weight (1/4 - 1/2) depending on depth. It's all about $$ versus value with them. If you can afford to spend money on them they will catch you fish. I prefer other lures with are less expensive (Zoom Fluke Jr, Meathead, & Fish Doctor, Roboworm stuff etc.) More than 1/2 the price and you get 20 of them in most cases. Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted December 31, 2012 Super User Posted December 31, 2012 I like Jackall stuff, but not these. They won't do anything or catch any more fish than the cheaper cross tail shads, or the alot cheaper Zoom tiny flukes. Case in point, a buddy and I pulled up on some deep cover last summer, dropshoting zoom finesse worms and tiny flukes I put a dozen quality keepers in the boat in 15 mins, he was using the clone fry........not a bite. I even swung the front of the boat out into no mans land and let him have at by himself for 20 mins.........nothing. After listening to him whine that I caught them all, I swung the boat back around and caught another limit in short order. Nothing fancy, just dead sticking a drop shot. I know I am not that good, nor is he that inept, so I saw all I needed to see to know that it would be foolish to pay $9 a pack for those. But they are pretty to look at. 1 Quote
BuckMaxx Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 I did a quick search on these. Hence the reason for the year old post coming back up. I drop shot these today and was very impressed! They look sick in the water so I thought I would get bunch more. HOLY CRAPSTICKS they aren't cheap. What would you guys similar? Thanks Quote
