My buddy bought me one of these...? does anyone use crappie umbrella rigs for bass?

Yum makes a tripod rig that's like an ultralight 3 arm A-rig. I'm sure it will work for bass but I have yet to catch a bass with mine.

Is it made for catching crappie or is it just the crappie color Terminator rig?
