Just another little teaser from Pickwick and hopefully some fuel for the ones still on the fence.

Today we caught 30 bass. They were keyed in on shad. Find the bait balls working their ways into the backs of the coves and find the fish. Catch a couple then find the next bait ball. Shad imitators were key. Lots of fun. Only 3 were smallies though.

The day before there was good water generating through the dam and my fishing partner drifted below the dam. Said the only problem was lack of good sized bait, but they managed around 20 bass, with ALL BEING SPOTS OR SMALLIES.

Couple good days on Pickwick and a couple pics for eye candy.....

Nice fish, buddy!

Speedy, Neal, Carroll and I fished below the dam on Saturday.

We caught a few, but not nearly the day you had. Carroll caught

a couple of good largemouth on a jig (PBJ). Later he had a 4-5

brown fish on, but it threw the hook.

The water is still ten derees too warm, but the bite should get hot

in another week or two. Hope to fish with you in October!

Looks like a great day. I really need to get down there, never been. Florence is only about an hour and half from my house.
