zachb34 Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 The other day I was fishing a spot right next to a friend, and he was catching fish more than me swimming a senko. Not even the paddle tail ones it was Texas rigged and he swam it in. I threw cranks at all depths and caught a lot less does anyone else find swimming a worm like this can be more effective? I also tried senkos just not swam and flukes and even a Texas rig but again didn't swim it just dragged it like I usually do. Quote
Jake P Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 There is an article here I will link you to when I get home since I'm on my phone now. I think its called fishing like an idiot. Its a good article. Maybe someone can pull it for you before I can. Quote
BenBassmaster Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 I know Bass Pro has a Swimmin' Senco that is effective. Maybe the fish just liked his presentation better. Quote
GeorgiaBassBros Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 I've had great success swimming finesse worms Quote
38 Super Fan Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 Swimming a worm can be very effective, I personally like zooms speed worms for this technique, but have had success with a variety of worms. Quote

Arv Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 I've never tried swimming a senko but I have swam ribbon tail and curl tail worms with some success before. I pick those because of the action on the tail. I might have to try it with a senko now too. Quote
