unhbass37 Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Anyone fish Turkey Pond in Concord? How is the fishing there? Can I get my bass tracker boat in there or is it Jon boat only? Thanks for the help. Quote
unhbass37 Posted June 27, 2012 Author Posted June 27, 2012 patiently awaiting the answer. NASHUA do you have a bass boat to? I'm in Nashua as well and fish with my son alot. Maybe we can fish together sometime. Quote
Super User Shane J Posted June 27, 2012 Super User Posted June 27, 2012 I'm some what of a Turkey Pond expert. I've spent hundreds of hours at that place. I hate the launch, and the parking makes it even harder when it's busy. The fishing there can be very tough, and it can be crazy good. I probably have over 30 5lb+ fish outta there, and actually caught a pickerel bigger than the state record on file. There are a couple problems, though. Milfoil, and floating logs. I've replaced 4 props because of that place. The milfoil makes it a challenge, too, but there's ways around that, like topwater, or punching heavy tungsten. You should definitely fish it and form your own opinions, but I'm sure you'll like it. Quote

I've fished at Turkey once and went to the walk-in launch off of 89, which was a huge P.I.A. dragging my canoe down that big hill, then back up. Quote
