Super User DogBone_384 Posted December 27, 2014 Super User Posted December 27, 2014 Launched the kayak yesterday at Jacob's Pond in Norwell. Caught a good size pickerel, LMB about a pound or so, another small pickerel, and a yellow perch that thought it was a 50 pound striper! All in all a great day after Christmas for sure. Now I'm at Logan, heading to FL. Yes, I packed a couple set-ups. Quote
BR1AN Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Hey Guys Well alot of the lakes/ponds around here are still only half frozen. There is a big lake down the street that's frozen 4 inches thick. We went out twice already first day was junk but we started late. Wednesday we went out and set up 10 tipups and landed 5 pickerel. We don't know much about this lake at all. Looking forward to next week everything should be frozen. Quote

BR1AN Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Not a bad day out on the ice. I never jigged before and i landed 2 bass rather quick. The tipups wernt to active today 6-7 jumbo perch and 1 pickerel. I have to say i am officially addicted to using a flasher and jigging. Tons of fun. 1 Quote
