Launched the kayak yesterday at Jacob's Pond in Norwell. Caught a good size pickerel, LMB about a pound or so, another small pickerel, and a yellow perch that thought it was a 50 pound striper!  All in all a great day after Christmas for sure.

Now I'm at Logan, heading to FL. Yes, I packed a couple set-ups.

Hey Guys

Well alot of the lakes/ponds around here are still only half frozen. There is a big lake down the street that's frozen 4 inches thick. We went out twice already first day was junk but we started late. Wednesday we went out and set up 10 tipups and landed 5 pickerel. We don't know much about this lake at all. Looking forward to next week everything should be frozen.

Not a bad day out on the ice. I never jigged before and i landed 2 bass rather quick. The tipups wernt to active today 6-7 jumbo perch and 1 pickerel. I have to say i am officially addicted to using a flasher and jigging. Tons of fun.

Had a dream I was trolling for striper out of my kayak. Is it spring yet?

12 hour days in Boston followed by long drives home followed by snow removal of not just the drive way but the roof as well!?!
