A fiend of mine was with me and she had her iphone with her so she snapped a few photos for me. I usually upload to postimg.org and i take the URL and post it here.

As for the lure, its kinda funny.. My buddy was cleaning out his trunk and found a big 6" rapala firetiger. He had no idea whos it was and just gave it to me. I was using everything with no luck so i gave it a try, first cast i got a pickerel 3rd cast by a downed tree i got that girl. Alot of people like to hate this little pond but i know it holds lunkers. There is a pipe that connects the two to a resevoir which is illegal to fish that really holds some PIGS! believe me i snuck in a few times! Nice small mouth as well.

Hey guys my reel broke a couple days ago. I might just get another president but I'm lookin at some other ones maybe a Abu Garcia revo I'm not sure what to get. Probably gonna spend between 100 to 150. Could you guys give me some suggestions please. Thanks again

Nah maybe next year I can't barely get my spinning reel down. I wish I knew how to use one.

Next season I'm getting a Tatula and I'm going to learn how to fish it. That is my goal. I read that when you first start it's best to have someone that can show you the basics

Tatula is a great reel, I prefer it to most of my other reels that cost twice as much.

Been hitting the bank recently and the bite has been pretty tough. Just some small fish, last night I had a 5 inch perch eat a 4 inch fat ika. I felt the bite but after I set the hook I thought I missed the fish until I brought my bait back

Went out Friday after work to do some shore fishing. Got two nice bass, probably around 2.5-3lbs on a fat ika, and three little guys off a chrome rat-l-trap.

Took the kayak out Saturday to one of my honey holes and got nothing, only one nibble the entire trip.

I had the best weekend ever. I caught two giants at the same place I caught that 5.3lbs one. I didn't have my scale but one was well over 4 and the other was at least 5lbs. My new reel I bought from Mike worked awesome pulled these big ones in pretty easy. What a Sunday morning on my little boat.

Went out yesterday in the wind and rain, water was freezing. Managed to get 4 trout off spoons & rooster tails.

BR1AN, did the state stock already? I thought that happened 2nd or 3rd week of October?

In the fall everything will be stocked by Columbus Day. They stocked the lakes & ponds by me this week. If you call this # (978) 772-2145  right now the answer machine will give you a list of the places they stocked. They update the list every friday after 4PM.

Good day for squarebills. Went out with my cousin and his girlfriend and between the 3 of us we got about 20 fish, almost all of them on squarebills.

That's definitely true it's the only thing thats been working for me this week. Too bad I lost my only one today. I guess I'm going to have to buy a bunch.

I started a thread in the "Other Fish Species" and asked our fellow BR members how to fish a Little Cleo, so I went out this morning and got 2 and missed 1 trout all while learning to fish a spoon. I know what you're thinking, but I really don't know how to fish them. I guess today I'm getting better. :eyebrows:

Take care guys and good luck the rest of the year!

Never been too good at catching trout with spoons myself. Got a fly rod this year, hopefully I'll get some teout on that.

Haven't been out on the boat so i just been trout fishing from the shore with powerbait. Been catching my quota everynight except for yesterday.. That warm weather really had them moving around.

This guy next to me caught a 4lb 10oz bass off power eggs.. Don't think he was expecting that :eyebrows:

Took the kayak to Wampatuck Monday for about 5 hours in the morning.  The reservoir was as low as I've ever seen it and the water was very stained; my Lowrance told me the water was down 5 - 8 feet from  June .  Tossed bass & perch 'flavored' Rapalas, chartreuse and shad colored spinner baits, a chartreuse chatter bait, and a T-rigged Zoom worm I know works and got not so much as a strike.  I've talked to other folks who fish there and they say there are some big bass & pickerel there, but I sure as heck can't find them.

Good part of the day though was the low water revealed where LOTS of structure is.

Went out for a few hours after work. Lost one a couple feet from the bank, looked like a good sized bass. Nothing for about an hour after that, then I pulled in the biggest perch I've ever caught and a good bass prob around 3.5lb

Where's 'after work' and which side of Boston is that in your profile photo?
