Great fish!  Always nice to find a new hot spot.

Drove around with the phone & gps on and found a decent size pond that didn't have a name. Safe to say found a new spot.

20-30 missed hits off the top water frog. Only caught a couple pickerel.

if i didn't catch those pickerel i still would of been happy with all those topwater blowups. I gotta try it at night real soon!

it's crazy how many fishing spots there are once you start looking. Places I've driven by my whole life and since I started fishing I've realized I could fish these little ponds. Two of the smallest ponds have the two biggest fish I've caught.

My luck @ Blue Hills Reservoir appears to be turning around. Got a 1-2 lb LMB there this morning before my dentist appointment. Caught it using a Berkley Gulp nightcrawler.

Went to spot pond in Winchester after work today, this place is huge. Only managed one small bass. Not sure how good this place is gonna be but I'm definitely gonna come back.

For those curious it's shore fishing only, to get to it take exit 34 off 93 then take the first right and you can park on that street. There's other access to it but that's where I went today

Went to buckmaster caught two little lmb but it was awesome cuz I used new crankbait. Rapala floating minnow. My first crank baits fishes. It's almost better to catch a small one on something new then it is to catch a big one on a senko.

Thanks Jigfishn10. Im doing okay I just want to get a few pointers from people that have been fishing for awhile. Altogether today I caught 5 fish I went back to the place I got the 5.3 caught a really long 2lber. This is the best forum I wouldn't know anything without this place. Thanks for the encouragement. I'm so happy I found bass fishing.

Well i think i found the problem with my frog fishing, We had one awesome day last week then the rest has been a lot of top water blowups with nothing to show for it. I thought maybe it was the hooks we been using which were eagle claw 2/0 weedless hooks. So i ordered a pack of Zoom Toad Hooks 5/0 and their a lot bigger. Apparently this is the common size to use when using plastic frogs. Anxious to try these out! I'm done losing fish (hope so) :hahaha-024:

BR1AN don't forget a drop of superglue on the frog's nose to keep the rubber from bunching up.....

Took my dog to the needham res last night, caught one off a senko then left when the sun went down because the mosquitos were getting out of control.

Is that the body of water off of Kendrick Ave, I think it is? Kinda of behind an office park? I may be thinking of something different.

I got a late afternoon opportunity to get up to Blue HIlls Reservoir yesterday.  Caught a dink with a 4" Watermelon/Copper/Orange/Red Senko.  A short while later I caught one in the 2 - 3 pound range on a 5" Smoke/Black/Blue/Gold.  I worked them slower than I usually do, letting them sit still for a spell before moving.

I worked Pumpkin/Black/Green with zero luck.
