Last ditch effort for the largemouth in the Nashua river.  Managed to catch one everymonth in 2012 except this month. Managed to get a small smallie in the Merrimack yesterday afternoon.  Need 1 Largemouth for 2012

Well, you still had a good year, Nev. The only place I coulda thought of where to catch that LM, was the Merrimack, which you know about. Good stuff this year, and good luck to all of you guys for the new year! I'm sure I'll see a lot of you on the water this year, and I can't wait! Just don't be lookin' for my old boat, it's up for sale, and I'll have a new one. Plus, I'm gonna get that state record fish this year! Bring it on!

Best of 2012...

no largemouth for December in 2012 only the smallie. .   Time to start for Jan 2013 LM and SM. Need a little warm up to open the rivers back up for the kayak or canoe.  or gotta get to Bow.  any other spots?

I got out on Turtletown on Wednesday morning and ended up with 4 pickerell and 2 largemouth around 1.5 pounds each. Nothing special, but it was nice to get out on the lake. That place gets a ton of pressure year round. There were 4 other groups out there when I went, so half of the lake was covered in tip ups. Anyone else do any ice fishing for bass yet this winter?

Skunked today in the kayak, fished where the Nashua river flows into the Merrimack for about an hour.  Lots of rocky areas , slow moving water.

Doesn't surprise me since its winter. Fish don't move very much when the water is very cold.

It was worth it, just getting out to paddle around the kayak for an hour.

I think this storm is going to mess up my chances of getting the kayak in the water this sunday.  Was hoping to get time in.

Naw. You'll be alright by Sunday for a roof topper. Go fish, brother! I'll be out somewhere Sunday.

Nev I'd go tomorrow during the storm early. They say that could produce some of the best fishing. Good luck.

Yup, sure did! It was friggin crazy! Biggest was 11.5. I'll be back in two weeks right after the Classic. Me n' Big O are headin' on down again to catch some REALLY big ones, cuz they're in pre-spawn right now. Can't wait!

Falcon is bassfishing heaven.Went twice last year and the size and numbers are awsome!!!! Fished for four days and put twenty fish or so in the boat that went between five and eight lbs.lost at least twelve fish in the cedars and some of those could have been bigger. What I liked most was that there were a lot boats out fishing the "honey holes" and these spots would seem to replenish with fresh fish as the day went on.Might get a chance to go again in april.

Yeah, you're right, bassbill. Lots of boats, but lots of fish. It's fishing tough right now from what I hear, but getting better now. Should be prime in the next few weeks, and I will be there! Gonna feel good to be in 80 degree weather, wearing shorts, Catching fish like it's May here. In the mean time...

Thanks, Bill, I'll be sure to let ya know how it goes. It's a guaranteed good time down there, no matter what, the big fish are just a nice bonus.

Hahah, thanks, unhbass! Those two are smallie numbers 39 and 43 for the year. The second one was actually on a Pearl Menace on a Scrounger. Forgot I switched over to compare the bites. Got more on the Grub. My fingers still don't work right, though. Think I froze somethin' !
