  6. yeah, this new design will pwn
  7. get a minnow trap for 7 bucks, put it in your pond with some boloney, bread, and crackers in it as bait, put it in some shallow water where there are tiny bluegill, wait a few hours, come back, and there should be a good supply of 2-3 inch bluegill in there. use those for bait. or you could get yourself a mattlures bluegill and try that
  8. i think this is a bit of an overstatement there is no rulebook, you can use whatever line you want and you will probably do just as good as the next guy. like me, i use Powe Pro for everything, worms, jigs, topwater, cranks, spinners, finiesse, anything....even though everybody says your not supposed to use it for all that, i do, and i dont see why i shouldnt. i havent noticed any negative results. PUT BRAID ON THAT BAD BOY!
  9. how about the movie just for the hell of it ;D
  10. hinge/wire loop tutorial http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1221880921/0
  11. this is a step by step tutorial for how to make twisted wire loops for hinges, hook hangers, line ties, etc... sorry for a few blurry shots, my camera didnt want to focus for some reason... materials: 19 guage stainless steel wire wire cutters drill finish nail 3/32" drillbit (will vary depending on what guage wire you use) measuring instrument pliers vise measure and cut about 2.5" of wire: place nail in vise like so: be sure not to hurt yourself on the nail after you put it in the vise. bend both pieces of wire around the nail like this: crimp one piece of wire tight against the nail with a pair of pliers like so: slip the loosley bent piece in the tightly crimped piece like this: now crimp the second piece of wire: take the wire off the nail and chuck one piece in a drill so that just the tips of it are actually in the drill: now slip the loop that is connected to the drill over the nail and slowly twist the wire with the drill while pulling back (towards yourself) with a small amount of pressure, to make sure the wire stays straight when it twists, and doesnt start to get curved. dont pull too hard or you will cause some damage to the wire or your drill: slip this off the nail and repeat with the other piece of wire: you should now have something like this: trim off the uneven ends with your wire cutters: find a drill bit that will make a suitable size hole for your piece of twisted wire. 3/32" fits twisted 19 guage wire very nicely. drill holes in test wood to make sure the wire fits in the hole. when you find the right size, drill holes in your bait where you need wire loops/hinges: now mix some 2 ton epoxy with a tooth pick and let it drip off of the tooth pick and into the drilled holes. make sure to get an ample amount of epoxy into the hole. sorry, no pics for this step, i didnt feel like mixing up epoxy ;D stick your wire loops in the holes and set them just how you want and let the epoxy cure before moving the bait: hope i made everything clear for you. these wire loops make a great substitute for screw eyes. its a nice easy way to make hinges/line ties/hook hangers on your new bait. enjoy.
  12. hinge tutorial coming up in about 10-15 minutes

  17. no way! my other *** shirt (the one w/ the logo on the back) mysteriously got 3 large holes in the front. i think its either some kind of bug ate my shirt or i got battery acid on the shirt from carrying the battery to/from my boat.
  18. DT 06 hands down. color: Silver or Shad
  19. caught this 20", 4lb 0oz bass at the farm pond about 1:00 PM today. got it on a 5" smoke blue pepper trick stick. what sucks is i forgot the verification number, so this fish will not count in the allurinb baits tourney. that REALLY sucks cuz im sure this would earn me a good spot in the leader board oh well, just reason to go out and catch a bigger one i guess... :
  20. i dont know about their rods, but they make a mighty fine jacket ;D
  21. that thing is short (judging by the water bottle) but VERY fat! its gotta humpback lol. just judging by how fat it was i'd have to say it was 4.5-5.5lbs. really nice fish you got there! is that a pb?
  22. sweet! i bet that made your day.
  23. yes.
  24. in your case, definitley get the power worms they're both pretty standard ribbon tail worms, so it really wont make that much of a difference which you use.
