  1. I have 3 pairs of duplicates and one quadruple.
  2. 50# Power Pro high vis yellow
  3. I have a couple. They were made by Ark Rod in Harrison Arkansas.
  4. It takes movement of the boat to make an arch. A still boat and a still fish makes a flat line. The 83 kHz will show a bigger area but I don’t know how much.
  5. If it is using a 200 kHz transducer then you typically get a circle which has a diameter of approximately 1/3 of the depth.
  6. I am one of those guys who wants all of my stuff to communicate as much as possible so I buy products that work together. I am currently running birds as they communicate very well with my Minn Kota Ulterra.
  7. I have not bought any since I have no way of knowing who has the current contract to make them.
  8. Spinnerbaits... I use 4 colors of War Eagle depending on conditions Shaky.... Zeros and Zinkers in several colors Jigs... Football is my favorite but I use a lot of other styles in a variety of sizes and colors
  9. I like them all but I really am a numbers guy.
  10. If you have it on constant it will torque to the right so you will have to keep your foot on it anyway.
  11. My experience is that every fish that I have caught on them has been hooked in the top of the mouth. They make most any plastic bait stand up and don’t get hung up very bad. It has become my go to shaky jig.
  12. It is not a good idea to use your trolling motor battery for your depth finder. Trolling motors cause lots of electrical interference. It should be wired directly to your boat motor cranking battery. Be sure to put the fuse that came with the depth finder in the line.
  13. Not those specifically but I make one similar.
  14. Plan on spending several hundred dollars to get set up very well. You need a lot of stuff in order to do much. Just getting set up to pour tubes cost me $300. There are lots of good bait making sites where you can get valuable information. Tackle under ground has a don’ts for newbies that can prove invaluable for you.
  15. 6.25# for me on Ned using 6# fluorocarbon line. My old boss caught a 9# on 4# line using a crappie jig.
  16. Bow to stern is a polymer sealant. It seals the pores in the gel coat, but it takes 3 coats to do it. Then every few months a fresh coat on a clean boat.
  17. To prevent it you’d have to keep it in your garage. If you get some Bow to Stern, clean the boat well, put on a light coat, let it dry then wipe it off, put on a second coat, repeat, then put on a third coat you will be able to easily clean it when it gets dirty. I have it all over my boat and motor. All I do for cleaning is run a wet rag over it and dry it off.
  18. Sounds like a plan to me. I’ve pulled line out from a spinning reel and run it through closed phone book to take twist out.
  19. I carry about 10 setups of each. Some of my spinning are for finesse and some not. That is the same for my bait casters. It just depends on what and hoe I am fishing.
  20. It seems more like stupid instead of high tech, and you can’t fix stupid.
  21. My console unit got accidentally left on for 3 days in the garage. No harm done to the unit or ducer.
  22. I think you are heading in the right direction. That will give you a chance see if you want to go all the way making jigs.
  23. Go to the do it site and compare their molds or maybe get Mike to pour you up a bunch of unpainted heads.
