About Me
My first boat was a Lowe 1648 side console with 9.9hp w carb kit to make it roughly 15hp (had alot of 10hp max lakes where I grew up). Sometimes I wish I would've never got rid of it. I had it across the main body of Kentucky Lake a few times. Did well, but not going to lie there were pucker factor moments in that rig on pop up storm days. Nothing like being eye level with water at the bottom of some serious rollers to get the heart pumping.
Now I am leaning back towards the ole faithful tin boats. Something about them that one cant beat. Whether it is bumping around in the timbers or the occasional went to shallow rubbed some rocks all while not feeling terrible. Windy days are def a negative when it comes to aluminum but not a major issue just pick a location where you have some protection.
I am not a tourney fisher mainly a weekend warrior. Something about being on the water that is rather therapeutic.
