I’m looking off my deck and can see 6 bluegill beds. The bass won’t be far behind. It’s fun watching them guard the beds!

That’s pretty incredible. Mother Nature is pretty cool and at the same time can be pretty cruel.

Garmin gives you more bang for your buck. The lakes that aren’t on LakeVu and even the ones that are only require an SD card and you can create your own maps. Humminbird requires a $100+ zero lines card made by Humminbird.

I’ve lost a few over the years. Approx. 14 years ago the wife and I were fishing and she wanted to bring one of our Pugs on the boat. This dumb dog decided to jump off the front of the boat and went under it. As I circled around to grab him I must have kicked a spinning combo overboard. Last year or the year before 6poundbass and I were fishing and he grabbed my pitching set to use. As he was heading to the back of the boat he tripped on the bench seat and I heard “oh no!” As I turn around I see my rod and reel sinking into the abyss. I got a better set up out of the deal though.

Date night with the wife. She’s dog sitting for an older couple and they said we could fish off their dock, so of course we did. Both of us are finally on the bass board. We both caught our first bass of 2021 at the same time. Nothing to write home about, but they were bass.

Algae blooms happen all the time on our lake, so much so they added two more sprays last year because the blooms were so bad. ?

They just sprayed our lake yesterday. ?

I’d guess a spot too. It doesn’t appear the ‘hinge’ of the mouth extends to or past the eye. That being said the picture isn’t focused on the mouth and the mouth is open.

I’ve been a utility locate technician for 11 years now. I’m the guy that puts the annoying paint and flags in your yard. ? As of this year I’m the supervisor of our West Michigan locating department. It’s been a fun and interesting job.

Cant get any better than a frog bite in pads or the thick nasty slop.

I couldn’t think of anything more fun to do on a Saturday night than to give Hank a bath (insert sarcasm). Hank as usual fought us the whole time, destroyed the bathroom, and soaked us both. He’s none too happy right now, but he’s clean, and doesn’t stink anymore.

I’ll bet those things put up a heck of fight. The little ones are very strong and aggressive.

How do you fish three tournaments in one morning? ?

I’m not sure what it was. If I remember correctly it was a night tournament and dark out. Personally I wouldn’t go over idle speed in darkness.

I didn’t know there was such a thing either until he made a Bloody Mary for my wife one time and put a shot of it in front of me. A little bit goes a long way. He and my stepmom are big wine people now and found it on one of their wine tours.

My dad makes a pretty good Bloody Mary. He gives it a kick by adding a jalapeño wine.

Suck it up buttercup, you’re losing your hair just cut it short. I’m not saying that because you’re 10 years older than me and I’m bald up top. Life is actually easier with a shaved head. I’m not to the point of a razor shave but I’m getting there.

The GT-56 can see deeper and I believe a little further to the side, and I believe the imaging is a tad better. I have the GT-54, I’ve only had it out a couple times but I’ve been happy so far.
