  1. Tossing red rattle trap?
  2. @N Florida Mike is adding all kinds of things to his arsenal! Look out bass. We caught some white bass today, are those bass or other species? Anyways Here they are. Current about 3 mph
  3. That’s the mushy bite!!!! I just remembered another good way to improve strike detection. Set up on a school of crappie or white bass and catch them with all kinds of lures. Spoons grubs hair jigs drop shot etc. They will hit it all so you can learn what everything feels like
  4. Shallow river smallmouth would more fun in July in TN. I imagine a private pond would be almost boiling by that point. If I was in your location, I would head to lake Erie that time of year!
  5. That one that almost bit my cricket was at least 9 lbs
  6. Winter is at least 5-7 days a year down there....... sometimes.,........ Haha
  7. I drive mine down the driveway to get the mail every morning.......
  8. That depends on the jon boat..... Unless you have two cars and two free days, you aren't getting a kayak where my boat is sitting in this picture. We did it with one vehicle in an afternoon. We used to only dream of day trips fishing there with kayak/canoe until I created that rig
  9. My buddies canoe registration costs more than one of my boats. They go by length and it's a monster old town!
  10. Eating at Subway now....... Might have missed my 3 hours but I was dealing with a raccoon in a chimney..... Yes I washed my hands ......
  11. Not a bad system..... I love to go to my relatives houses and founder on their food until I'm so stuffed I have to lay on the floor. Here's me and my brother after Thanksgiving at Mom's place this year. Food coma. We did that almost every night growing up and mom would get upset and say "boys i spent a fortune on all this furniture and here you are laying on the floor"
  12. Whichever one fits the bait the best. Not much different than worm fishing. They are also really effective weightless
  13. Near my house, it all depends on current. Some days a 3/16 oz bullet weight gets swept away, some days it doesn’t. @Catt posted an interesting video of a kid using 1 oz jigs in shallow stump fields. Flip to the stump, hit it, and let the jig fall straight down. If no bass, try the next stump
  14. My mom has had a few minor events and now she can’t have nearly the amount of sodium she grew up cooking with. You should see her angry stare when she shows me the tiny salt shaker the doctor recommended for her haha
  15. I wouldn’t bet against mahomes and chiefs but I will be rooting against them Sunday at 3.
  16. I rarely eat breakfast and on weekends I’m usually standing there with my foot on a trolling motor pedal for most of the day and I typically don’t take any food. I’m going to try eating every 3 hours (if I can afford it $) and see if I notice some positive changes. I Already had a granola and chocolate milk for breakfast Today (although I did pull my work van into a gas station to purchase it )..... Thanks for the inspiration A-Jay. I usually just drink a few cups of black coffee for breakfast. I’ve kind of been the same body shape since 8th grade, 6’1” and somewhere between 180 and 200. Not obese but I’ve always carried around some extra and always eat whatever I see. And apparently I go way too long without seeing food a couple times a week. Now that I think about all my skinny friends are eating constantly
  17. Use that same 2&3/4 inch with 1/8oz for lake fishing. I always use it for smallies too and the largemouth love it, especially around docks
  18. There’s a lot you don’t know about the undetected.......
  19. I don’t mind exercise but shopping and meal prep sounds like a real nightmare haha. My meal prep is gathering white bass and getting the grease hot...... maybe I should try grilling them more often. We did that Monday and it was tasty
  20. I just watched some BPT and....... well nevermind I didn’t watch
  21. Congrats @Russ E!!!
  22. Of course it runs on gas and takes maintenance. Never said anything about any of that, I have 5 kayaks I’m not against you. I just know which craft I can go fishing in quicker as I go after work several times a week year round and use all types
