  1. well you wanna be in the top 20 in the first two days. Then they take those top 20 from (group a and group b) And fish another round? It takes like a full week. None of them air live except online, the tv coverage is weeks/months after the fact. Also if you are critical of MLF, they will find you......... insert Liam neeson meme.......
  2. The only time I recall having something happen like this was when I was a youngster and fishing off the bank below a dam. I bought some Heavy buck tail jigs and a striper grabbed one, took all my line off a big full reel in strong current, and broke the knot at the arbor. It was then I learned that striper are fast
  3. haha! That is absolutely awesome. I believe that calls for selling the house and going boat deck life full time
  4. There’s one called rebel bass club that has been around for a while but I think they fish just a hair southwest of Bristol, like Douglas Cherokee Norris and maybe watts/chick. Might have a south Holston stop occasionally though
  5. That triton looks as long as a rake handle!
  6. Woops. I think I checked the leaderboard before they were finished. Some folks caught more when I just refreshed
  7. “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face” -Mike Tyson. The knot only comes into play when Murphy’s law kicks in, and we all know it will. Like when you’re just on a short bank session after work, low on mainline, and somehow mister big eats your jig. He would never eat it if you were well prepared with a full spool
  8. I can’t help with your question but that is one fine looking canoe
  9. All this time I thought a blood knot was a uni-uni
  10. I see them! Nice rig
  11. Was that you that crashed those skis???
  12. My buddy’s grandpa used to have all kinds of Shad raps still in the original package in the bottom of his tackle box. As you might imagine, they were in better shape than all the ones in the trays
  13. Well I formerly used postimage.org but I want to say it doesn’t work on here anymore. There’s also a limit to how many 1.46 mb or under photos you can post so I learned from @N Florida Mike how to upload them to the gallery and then use the “insert other media” button and it doesn’t matter how big they are and, as far as I can tell, it’s unlimited on how many pictures you can post
  14. Something is wrong with your one hand! But seriously an old timer taught me Texas rigging a slug-O when I was in grade school. Straight tail worms don’t have to be on a shakey head to get bit!
  15. Just don’t move them on a 100 degree day (might be next month where you live!) and they will do fine with some bubbles.
  16. I ate a single raw oyster once at age 12-13 or so and nearly died. Puked for about 4 days straight. Never again, I don’t even like to see them. Deep fried I can eat 5 or 6
  17. The green ones I see are always up in a tree
  18. Who doesn’t Texas rig a stick worm????
  19. Well if they didn’t get rid of the beavers the dam will be back in no time
  20. Those might as well be race car engines! They go fast and drink gas. Every one I’ve ever ridden in never missed a beat
  21. Only two “limits” weighed in, must have been a tough day. Go Ott
  22. “Just call the man, aunt Bea!”
  23. Nice ones! I have the exact same results when fishing. Moving baits typically zero, plastic worms load the boat
