  1. Creature baits are one of my top 3 baits overall for bass fishing. Like a couple people said the full-size Brush Hogs just don't work for me. Tiny, baby, super, and even the new mid-size all work well. Below I will list my top 5 Creature baits in no particular order. 1. RI Smallie Beaver=GP, California 420, (actually let me know if you find a color that doesn't work) 2. Zoom Baby Brush Hog= GP, Scuppernong, Avacado 3. Zoom Super Hog= GP, Scuppernong 4. Yamamoto Kreature Bait= GP, Orange with green and black flake. 5. Berkeley Power Hog 4"= GP, Solid Black, Castaic choice 6. Honorable mention goes to Berkeley Mud Critter= GP, Solid black, Pumkinseed. Now I know everyone has favorite baits of their own. The list about is based on 20 years of fishing and not a single good day with a bait. If you notice there are only a few colors that have stood the test of time. Allen
  2. When I was a kid I made money for fishing equipment by finding lost golf balls and reselling them. The rich private courses were the best place to find golf balls. Allen
  3. Berkeley Big Game 10 or 12lb is all you need, Cheap and change it often with frequent use, Allen
  4. I keep a telescopic light bulb changer in the boat to get co-angler lures out of trees. Allen
  5. Looks like a Lee Sisson bait to me? He worked for Bagelys if I remember correctly then started his own company. His baits are similar to Bagely and he would use 3d eyes like on the bait here. Allen
  6. What were they? Allen

Only saw one or two lures I would buy? Last year Berkeley won a price for knocking off a JDM bait and this year it looks like Do-It did the same. Allen
  21. Can't believe I am seeing flukes and buzzbaits on this thread? Topwater has been horrible this year for me so far. That said besides a popper nothing works as well or is easier to catch fish on than a buzzbait. Allen
  22. Same thing here! Caught 2 fish on the full size after cutting the head off down to the top of the arms. Allen
  23. Size 5.5 Indiana blades arrived this week. Can't wait to try them out on some baits. Allen
  24. Right now anything! River is low, clear, and hot so nothing is working. Allen
