  1. Just ordered two of these to try this year. Plan on fishing a jetboat river trail this year all shallow water. Allen
  2. Most bass is a toss up between a spinnerbait and Ned TRD Bug? Most weight definitely goes to the spinnerbait. After $3k to fix my boat the answer may change this year after hitting the water. Allen
  3. If I am fishing tournaments, then nothing is off limits as you got to do what you gotta do. If not I woul never throw another carolina rig ever again. Allen
  4. Anyone try the wake version of this? Saw one on ebay that interested me. Allen
  5. Something new I put together, need to figure out the blades to go on it. Allen
  6. You must of been using Berkeley Vanish line. It is called Vanish because that's what happens to any lures you have on. Allen
  7. This is where I would launch from in a Kayak. Slavins/Mattingly or whatever its called now is a 6 knot zone so you will not get swamped by boats. You can fish a lot of Mattawoman creek from here that is all 6 knot zone. Other places I would look into are Black Hills Lake Seneca and Piney Run Reservoir. Both are electric only lakes and have some big fish in them. The fish in my avatar was caught at Piney Run in the middle of July. Allen
  8. January 1st so I am off to a good start this year. Only caught 3 but it was a good day considering the circumstances. Allen
  9. BOSS Fine Wire Finesse | FishingSkirts.com Finesse Series | FishingSkirts.com Make your own, get the $5 skirt making tool, some skirt bands and you have everything you need. Allen
  10. Daiwa TD Spawn G 1103SP-G Ghost-Honmoroko,In Box, Rare | eBay So I found one on Ebay after Tom mentioned them and it is only $68 but has free shipping. Not sure I can fish with them if they are valuable? Same reason I sold the translucent craw pre-rapala wigggle warts I had. Don't want to break off a $50+ collectable lure in some random stump. Allen
  11. I would love to hire his marketing team! Knowing the costs of components and the complexity of manufacturing those baits he is making a killing in profit. Allen
  12. Where? I looked on Ebay and could only find one in Japan. I also found a deep diving TD minnow NIP that's in the old black card packaging. Allen
  13. What rod are you throwing these on? In the video it looks like an AvidX spinning. Allen
  14. Guess I will get one to try this year? Normally I stay clear of Berkley hardbaits because they were poorly made. Allen
  15. With all the talk about the mini chatterbaits figured I would make some. Regular 1/2oz chatterbait here for a size reference. Allen
  16. I am going to have to look into some of these. Allen
  17. Tired of tripping over tackle everywhere in my basement and garage. Starting to cull and limit what I buy. Spent about $50 for lures in the last 3 months. Only thing I need is line and bullet weights. Allen
  18. So many variables its hard to say? I have basically just started throwing 1/2oz 90% of the time even in shallow water. Blade type and size, line size, reel speed, rod height, water temperature all play a part. I can fish a 3/8oz in 20 FOW and a 1oz in 3 FOW depending on these conditions. Allen
  19. When Walmart discontinued those and marked them down to $1 a bag I hit 17 stores to stock up. Still have a stockpile of my favorite color and buy them whenever I find them at a show on sale. Allen
  20. Super chunk Jr, 3" chigger craw, or Zoom creepy crawler. Allen
  21. After watching AJ's video I decided to try some deeper jerkbaits this year. These I have had for years just never them. Allen
  22. Zoom Swamp Crawlers. Allen
  23. Going to post some shows coming up in the MD, PA, and WV area. Allen
