  1. BPS has a Pro Lite baitcaster that is meant for lighter lures. Allen
  2. I have been using a Lowrider spinnerbait rod for two years and think it is great. For the money they are a good buy and I recommend them. Allen
  3. Do you have a link? I have never heard of it. Allen

    Frogs?

I agree 100%! The only thing I can add is use 50+lb braid. Allen
  5. Frog I know what you were thinking I kind of had the same idea? A couple years ago when I was at Ft. Leonard Wood Missouri for Military Police school they had a weapons fair that they had all the lieutenants attend. Taser had a booth set up and upon speaking with the rep I said that I wonder what it would feel like to be tased? He said that he would give me some shirts and some Taser stuff if he could tase me in a demonstration? At the time this did not seem like a bad idea I mean it is only 5 seconds and I am tough :-? The last thing the Taser guy said to me was try to resist? Now can anyone guess what the longest and worst 5 seconds of my life were :'( Now I have worked with electricity for years and have been shocked so many times I can guess the voltage but man did that suck! You smile while it is shocking you because it makes all your muscles tense. Now every time I hear something that sounds like that spark I flinch a little. :-/ http://www.taserx26.com/ Allen
  6. http://www.georgescustomrods.com/split_your_grip.htm Check out this link. Allen
  7. Rods and reels are a personal preference like everything else so I am going to recommend going to BPS, Cabelas, Gander Mountain, etc and get a feel of what you like. We can recommend all day long but you are going to be the one fishing with it? Now I would say you should be looking for a 6'6" - 7' medium heavy fast action rod and a reel with a 6-1 ratio. Allen
  8. It is the only mono that I use it works just as well as any other that I have tried. Last year I found spools of it on sale at Wal-Mart for $2 each so I stocked up. Like someone else mentioned I wish they made it in 6 and 8lb clear though. Allen
  9. I have only fished these in a lake a few times and they did work but not enough to give an opinion. Now I can tell you that they catch everything swimming in a river! I have caught tons of LM, SM, walleye and even a 12+" sunfish fishing these. Allen
  10. The most fish I caught in one day last year was on a 97mr Ghost Minnow Slender pointer. For me they work better in the fall than any other time of the year. Allen
  11. Watch out for those BPS hooks I have had a lot of problems with them breaking. Allen
  12. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290075657707 Looks like bombgirl34 may be a very unhappy large woman? Allen
  13. Difference is you can buy Kinami baits at Wal-Mart. Allen
  14. Do they make them in 306 Natural shad? Allen
  15. I have not seen any but you can usually pick up Bevy Shads cheap on ebay? To me a Rapala shad rap RS workd better than a bevy shad at 1/3 of the price. Allen
  16. Check out the link on page 4 of that post I will have to wait until I get home to open it. Allen
  17. My boat is a PT 175 Tracker and I try not to store much tackle in the boat itself. The system I use is 3600 plano boxes for all hardbaits, Falcon spinnnerbait and buzzbait boxes for SB and BB's, 1 gallon freezer bags for soft plastics seperated by type (ie creature baits, senkos, etc.). I hate digging through boat compartments trying to find tackle! I use a red BPS tackle bag and if I cannot catch fish on what I can fit inside I need to work harder at finding fish. Allen
  18. After several years of experimenting this is what I do. If say a green pumkin brush hog is working I will leave the bag out and place the creature bait ziblock freezer bag where I can easily get to it. Allen
  19. I have been successful at breaking the lips off of their jerkbaits! :-? The jerkbaits will work but I have broke 3 of them so they will not be replaced. Allen
  20. I know he use to be real active on tackleunderground and other sites? Allen
  21. I have been hesitant to try some of the deeper divers so far but I have done well with the RC 1.5 so I plan on trying more this year. Allen

    College

Part time I have been working on my degree for 10 years. Now I only have one class to go but they rarely offer it so I am fighting with the school. No matter how long it takes just remember that a study said that someone with a college degree will make over a millon dollars more than someone with just a high school education. Allen
  23. Depending on the time of year? Bandit crankbait, white spinnerbait or a LC jerkbait. Allen
  24. And now for the disorganized! ;D I guess I do not have as much free time as some of you? Maybe the Natural can stop by my house and organize my tackle for me? Allen
  25. Now I do not feel as bad about being a tackle buyer! Let me see if I can find the digital camera? Allen
