  1. Seneca tournament is moved until April but I plan on fishing it the lake weekend this month. I do really well with a spinnerbait but most of the fish I catch on one are only on 2 or 3 colors. Allen
  2. Crayfish, shad, and firetiger are all you should need. Allen
  3. Pointer 78sp for the spring Slender pointer 97mr for the fall Allen
  4. Baby brush hogs are my #1 producer but I use the Yamamoto Kreature for large SM. Allen
  5. I really need to work on my photos! Allen
  6. Those look a lot better than the chattercrap baits I have! Keep up the good work. Allen
  7. Both of these baits are hidden weight 1/2oz. This is my first buzzbait and the other has a transparent clear red plastic blade. What does everyone think? Allen
  8. Bandit 100 and the LC RC 1.5 work the best for me. Allen
  9. Wacky worm was selling them at the Timonium, MD show I would check with them. Allen

  12. I had one that was constantly on for no reason and after a clip of the LED wire no more light to worry about. Allen
  13. When in doubt use green pumkin or solid black. Allen
  14. 1. I hate rattle traps because they catch fish for everyone but me and I have never made more than 12 casts without losing it! 2. Depends but something more natural like a smoke colored senko? 3. Main thing about fishing clear water is long casts! If you can see them they saw you 10 minutes earlier and are now spookish. Allen
  15. Like other have said I use to HATE jigs! I caught maybe 4 fish on jigs ever until I had a conversation with some older gentlemen at BPS in Springfield. He noticed me buying lures and when I walked right down the jig row without even looking he said I was going right by the main lure I needed? I told him I had tried them and they just did not work? He asked what kind I was using and I said the black/blue 1/2oz that everybody and their brother swears by. He said why don't you try some jigs in the same color as the soft plastics you are using? He recommended the Eakins jig in 5/16oz in any natural color. Once I started using a brown jig it was on! Now that I have been fishing jig for a few years I can say I only need a few colors; light brown, dark brown, solid black, and whitish for swimming jigs. Allen
  16. The 97MR catches a lot of fish for me! I do carry the 112 for larger fish though. The only colors I use are Ghost Minnow=Clear water and Pearl Ayu for stained. Allen
  17. http://www.staminainc.com/skirts/natures_edge.html I would order a 5 pack each of;(532) Pumpkin, (535) Burnt Orange, and (540) Watermelon and see what the colors look like before ordering more. Allen
  18. Ok I dug out my skirt tabs and this is what I found out. The greem is Natures edge watermelon (259 Janns Netcraft) The red/brown color looks like Natures edge Burnt orange And now for the confusing part I have 3 different Natures edge Pumkin (249 Janns Netcraft) and they are 3 different colors :-? One looks just like your pumkinseed color, one looks like the burnt orange color and the third one is closer to orange. Your pumkin could be Pumkin pepper (090 Janns) it is the same color as the natures edge pumkin only the black flake is smaller. The picture colors on Janns do not match the colors of any of the tabs either? Allen
  19. I like that color but a Megabass Vision is the most worthless jerkbait I own. This is the only jerkbait that I have never caught a fish on? I have a Wal-Mart Renegade jerkbait that cost $0.40 on sale that outfishes it. Now since I paid so much for these I am going to give them another chance this year. Allen
  20. Ghost minnow is the only color you need for clear water. Buy a 78sp and a slender pointer 97mr both in ghost minnow and your set. Allen

    Swim jigs

I started making my own last year because I couldn't find any swimming jigs. Most of the time I use a 1/4oz bait w/ single tail grub, MH rod, 10-15lb line. Those jigs look alright but EWG jig hooks do not work very well for me. Do you have a link to their website so I can see the other colors? Allen
  22. http://www.caswellplating.com/powder/powder_colors.html The post below about the cost of powder paint made me remember this. I use this powder paint and it works great and have never had any problems. The best part is it is only like $13/lb instead of $4-5 for 2oz like Pro-Tec. Allen
  23. They work for me but I do not fish poppers a lot. Allen
  24. Not sure about the foodsource lures but Gulp catches everything except bass for me? I have caught more water snakes on Gulp than bass Allen
  25. LC Gunnish 95 is the best for me hands down. I own all the other baits people have mentioned but the Gunnish just seems to work better for me. Allen
