  1. If you take away only one thing from this thread this should be it! Allen
  2. I did not like most of the baits out there because they did not fit my needs so I started making my own. Booyah are ok but they could be better? Strike King needs to start beating their Chinese child slave labors until they learn how to put a skirt on straight :-? There quality has went downhill so far it may never return. Right now if I had to buy a spinnerbait I would get a Revenge or a SOB mini-me. Terminators have a very loyal following but I have no experience with them. Allen
  3. I am with you on wanting a size inbetween the 78 and 100? 90mm would be perfect with some #5 hooks. Allen
  4. Can you go back and pick me up about 12 bags of gold shad senkos for that price? Allen
  5. #1 = Jig #2 = 4" senko I guess some of you live in the deep south and can get away with spinnerbaits year round? Up north it gets a little colder and considering that I broke up ice on the lake with my boat my second trip out I do not think a topwater would work for some reason? Allen
  6. They do take some time and practice. Have you tried that printing pictures then glueing them to the foil yet? Allen
  7. Pointer 78sp in Ghost Minnow and Baitfish Silver Slender pointer 97MR Ghost Minnow and Pearl Ayu Allen
  8. http://www.***.com/descpageREVSPIN-RSBS.html Based on what you like about the Glamour shads I would check out the Revenge baits? Allen

  10. Glad I stocked up! Allen
  11. Tell us what it is you like about the Glamour shads? Is it the colors, blade configurations, weight? Tell us what caracteristics they have that work well for you and I am sure I can recommend a similar bait. Allen
  12. It costs me $108 per year for full coverage/100 deductable on my 2003 PT 175 Basstracker. The was I look at is eventually something is going to happen and I want to be covered. Allen
  13. I am wanting to pick up one of these but what class does it have to be? There are different coast guard types but I have no idea what I need? Allen
  14. Picked up two spools that I really don't need. Allen
  15. Get some cheap 10lb mono because you will have to cut out a couple birdsnests. Another recommendation is to only fill the spool between 1/2 and 3/4th full. This will cut down on your casting distance but it will definately cut down on the number of backlashes! Like Burley I learned to fish a baitcaster when I was 12 but like everyone else I still get backlashes. Allen
  16. Where do you fish on the UP? Allen
  17. I think that it imitates the common color of a crayfish when they are molting? When they molt they are easier to catch and their body is softer so the bass prefer them? ( This is what I saw on a In-Fishermen show) Allen
  18. I think the idea came from the tornado spinnerbait that BPS use to sell (they may still have them). It was the worst spinnerbait I ever used hands down! That bait took two pairs of channel lock pliers to tune because the wire was so thick and half the time the blade would not turn. Allen
  19. SK for just about everything they make? and Frenzy baits. Allen
  20. 1.6/0 Treble hook dipped in chartreuse dye to snag them with. 2. 5' casting net 3. Spear gun 4. Bow $ arrow 5. In a pinch I just try to hit them with one of the props at full speed Has anyone guessed my opinion on bed fishing yet? Allen
  21. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_7816_100010005_100000000_100010000_100-10-5 Use these on your baits, the only time I would use a swivel like that would be an inline spinner. Allen
  22. 3-D stick on eyes from Barlow's (all the tackle places sell these including BPS) with epoxy over them so they never come off. Allen
  23. Change 12, version 3 :-/ Tournament is now at Black Hills this Sunday so I may be prefishing Saturday? I actually fish in 2 clubs now one BASS and one Non-BASS (this is the club tournament Sunday). Allen
  24. Insert small finishing nails into them. Allen
  25. Yes, I won a bet on this that is how I know. The ones I used had a very fast sink rate and no wiggle. Allen
