  1. Let me answer these questions as best as I can? Books- There is one on tacklemaking called the complete book of tacklemaking or something? I have a copy that you can borrow just pay for the shipping. Rods- I am just getting ready to start so I am not much help. Molds- Do-It molds from Barlows work well and can be easily modified to accept any hooks with a dremel. Hydrosilk skirts check with Earthworm77 at micromunch tackle he has them in natural colors and he had some made for me in pumkinseed so get with him. I make my own jigs and spinnerbaits but I am starting to work on rods and crankbaits. Allen

    Thanks! Allen
  4. Most productive this year either a Zoom green pumkin finesse worm or a 4" Kinami flash watermelon. Favorite way to fish is anything fast because deadsticking baits is about as fun as watching paint dry but it does produce. Allen
  5. Here are some baits I made using painted blades, booyah heads and skirts that I made to match. Shot with DiMAGE E500 at 2007-10-12 Allen
  6. RC 1.5 is my best crankbait this year. Allen
  7. I have been trying to perfect a good bluegill colored skirt for over a year. Right now I have about a dozen different versions and most usually end up looking like firetiger. This winter I will perfect a bluegill spinnerbait but my airbrush setup needs to be repaired so I can paint the heads. Allen
  8. I keep checking my mailbox but none have arrived for me? Allen
  9. How about making some basstrix baits that do not cost $37 a pack? > Allen
  10. How do you plan on fishing them? Blakemore and swimming hornet both make a jighead that has a swivel and blade attached underneath. Allen

Catt, Who has them on sale right now? I am looking at getting another all black one for any passengers I may have. Allen
  12. Yes, that is how I fish shad raps but instead of a hard jerk just use a pulling motion on the rod. Allen
  13. The gunnish outfishes all other walking baits for me. It has a more frantic action as opposed to the smooth side to side motion of a spook or sammy. Lucky craft just seems to outfish the other topwaters and this year 90% of the time I was using the gunnish 95 or the g-splash 65. Allen
  14. Ok, I have to go to St. Louis for a couple of weeks for work so when I get back I will organize this. Allen
  15. Thin the Devcon with denatured alcohol. Allen
  16. None of the Stanley baits I found have the blades like you are looking for. Since I couldn't find any I made some in white and chart. on Booyah 3/8oz heads I had laying around. As soon as I get some batteries for the camera I will post some pics. Allen
  17. I use to make them with a fine tip marker but after a while you will remember the ones that work. My crankbait boxes are organized by running depth anyway so it is easy for me to figure out. Allen
  18. The best system for me so far is a BPS bag (red one). I keep all my hard baits in 3600 plano boxes and all soft baits in 1 gallon clear freezer bags. Soft plastics are grouped together in freezer bag like senkos, creature baits, jig trailers, etc. and it is the best way to carry the most soft plastics in the least amount of space. Allen
  19. I think I have some in my basement? I will check tonight for you. You can buy those tiger striped willowleaf blades on ebay as that is where I bought mine. Allen
  20. That rod looks to nice to fish with Is there any weight difference between the burl and cork? Allen
  21. Looks like we need to start a list of people interested? Allen

This is the one I have and I cannot recommend them enough for cold and rainy days! Besides I like the looks on other peoples faces when they see me wearing it. Allen
  23. Whatever you want to call it I know it would work around here! Personally I like a crankbait to look like a crayfish of a baitfish for clear to stained water. For muddy water whatever is bright enough for them to see seems to work. Where do you get you bills from? Allen
  24. A couple of months ago we did a Bass Resource tacklemaking member lure swap and I was wondering if there would be interest in doing another? Allen
