  1. Used it a lot this year from the bank actually. Small 4" DS minnow with a 3/64oz Hover jighead. Half the hits were on the fall as it shimmied on the fall like a senko. Allen
  2. They like to steal jerkbaits from me. Allen
  3. Cold water stiffens the plastic for lack of a better word. This is why I pour my hairjig trailers in super soft plastic. They usually only last 1 or 2 fish but in 38 degree water it is worth it. As for ballheads I just pour 1/8 or 1/4oz on whatever hook that the shank length matches the bait. Allen
  4. No, I use them for trout fishing and end up catching bass on them though. Biggest LM I caught in my local creek hit a Mepps and the biggest trout a 3.5" tube. Allen
  5. Finding the wire is the hard part! I actually make some spinnerbaits on Titanium wire.
  6. MS stands for Magic Scales on LC baits. They use to sell the scale pattern stickers that you could add to baits. Allen
  7. Anyone else catch this subtitle in the Megabass movie? Allen
  8. Add Fine Art Wagasaki (However in the hell you spell it) to that list. To the OP we now have to do a background investigation into you. Asking how the Vision is made suggests you work for one of the three companies that hasn't knocked it off and are trying to catch up. Allen
  9. They are as good as any other premade heads you find. Question is does Fishingskirts have any in stock? Last I looked there was less stock than a Russian tank motor pool. Allen
  10. Let me know if you want any of these stupid heads? All the hooks fit in my spincast molds so just cover the costs of the hooks and I will make you however many you want. Allen
  11. Brass eye Water Gremlin sinker shoved in the tube eye first. Texas rig how you would do any other bait just make sure to run the hook through the sinker eyelet. Hook holds the sinker in place and the bait is compact. Allen
  12. A lot of companies are making the stupid tube heads but there are only few hooks made that work. Below are listed all the hooks and sizes I pulled off Barlow's Tackle for reference. Personally I like the top two straight eye ones listed. The VMC works best on lighter line and the Gama 2014 for heavier (17lb Floro). Gama 2034 is thicker than most flippin jig hooks I use so if you want to fish tubes on 65lb braid this is your hook. 13. Always looking for a better mouse trap with lure boxes myself. None of them ever seem to work out so I always go back to the regular Plano ones. Allen
  14. Strike King made one of those 20+ years ago called the Flip-N-Spin or something like that? Allen
  15. Why would you make that move unless you are in the military? PNW is beautiful for 2 months a year and rains constantly the other 10 months. Allen
  16. Mo idea what that is? Allen
  17. Willing to bet I am in the Top 3 people on this site who own the most LC jerkbaits. If I could only own one jerkbait it would be a Ghost Minnow Pointer 78sp. Allen
  18. You know where to buy some? I am coming up blank on my search. Allen
  19. Vision 110 Jr runs shallower than other jerkbaits its size IMO. I am going to try the deeper version this year. As for colors I like Matte shad and the Fine Art colors. FA Wagasaki has worked the best so far. Allen
  20. Picture makes it look bigger than it is, 3 colorado over a 4.25 willow. Allen
  21. Not a fan of making chart/white spinnerbaits usually. Someone asked who I like so I made him some. He wanted 1/2oz but mistakenly told me 3/8 so I had some 3/8 chart/white heads to build on. Allen
  22. Just the plain hooks not the poured heads. Allen
  23. Cast Industries has the ability to make whatever you want. They design the bait in some CAD program and then make a mold. Master creation is like $350? and the production mold is about the same. One made they pour the heads for you and charge a piece rate based on hook, paint, eyes, etc. Keep in mind this is a single size mold. If you want 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2oz they will have to make 3 molds. Your best cheap option is Bugmolds in Ukraine. They will make you a hand pour in like 3 different sizes for like $200. I have some of their molds and can say they work well. There downside is they get really hot, really fast compared to say a Do-It mold. This downside just means you can't sit down and pour 200 heads in an hour. I have a drop shot mold from them that after 5 pours its too hot to hold even with welding gloves. JIG-HEAD MOLDS (bugmolds.com) Allen
  24. Looks to me the blade is on backwards and too close to the line tie. Allen
