  1. If you have a Gander Mountain around you, look for the Citica 201D (last year). I was at my local store yesterday and saw two 201D's for $50 each.
  2. Since you have the floater.... -If you have the cojones and the equipment, throw it on a C-rig. -Find a weed bed and burn it over the top -Deadstick the bait over structure and around cover. Very versatile bait. Good choice.
  3. Personally, I dont put an extra hook on the baby bass as the bait is small enough for any fish in the lake to consume whole. Start chucking that thing and you'll see. If you were pitching the bait to a bed, I might rig up a stinger hook, but I use other baits in that situation.
  4. That is what I was going to suggest too. Bassmaster mag had a pretty detailed design in one of their issues a while back. You may as well get some use out of it...
  5. Better off dead "I'll believe ya when me sh!t turns purple and smells like rainbow sherbet."
  6. Please rephrase.....PLEASE! Much respect for what you do though. I work for the welfare department in PA.
  7. I brought a watermelon... RIP I liked Roadhouse.
  8. I have hunted hogs on Ft. Stewart and been to the Pass and Permit building. If the pictures on the wall are any indication of what is swimming in those ponds, then an hour's drive should be well worth it on the right day. The Ft. Stewart site has info on all the ponds. There were quite a few areas that were closed when we were there and the areas that were open had been that way for months, leaving almost no huntable game in those zones. It all depends on where the Army is practicing at that given time. We were told that if you can hit it when the area is just opened up, it is like heaven. I am sure this translates into fishing as well...
  9. uh you might want to re-word this part! lol Glad all is well. How did the Chantix trial ever turn out? FFi - AKA Matt Crum HA!!! ;D
  10. Well, you will be down here on Sunday. Just a suggestion if the fishing sucks....
  11. Just got off the phone with the local indoor range in Chambersburg. They are open from 1-6 on Sunday. They have 9's and 40's there for you to try out if you like.
  12. Robby, I believe there is a range down here in Chambersburg that rents guns as well. BadKarma42 posted on here earlier, he would know better than I would.
  13. Yep, not sure when Dan... I know they put them "On Demand" too.
  14. I like the show. It has become my replacement for "The Shield"
  15. Canoe Lake Lake Redman Lake Somerset Meadow Grounds Lake Long Arm Dam Long Pine Reservoir Shawnee Lake Muddy, I picked up a PA state lake map at a county fair the other day. Lists all the water in PA and it is broken down into regions. I am pretty sure you could get one from the fish commission and I know they have them at the PA Welcome Centers coming back into the state from NY.
  16. Robby! C'mon man. PM me your address and I will send you up a quality cigar. If you don't have a cutter, let me know and I will send you up one too. I don't know if good cigars will mix well with natural ice light and Milwaukees best. Natty Ice and Swisher Sweets??!?!?!?!?!?! Dude, I had hope for you but it's gone. I'll send you a cigar and go out and get a Sam Adams Summer Ale with some peanuts. They go great together. Kinda like furry hoodies and fishing? ;D Robby, substitute the Oktoberfest Sammy A and you should be golden...
  17. I'll have to keep my eye out for it. Usually dont go through town unless I am going fishing out that way. Glad to have another local on here.
  18. The Tru Tungsten 4" is A LOT smaller than people thought it was gonna be. To me, the thing looks like a little Rattle Trap with joints cut into it. Anything MS Slammer will catch you fish, good choice.
  19. Well, got mine in the mail today and I have to say it wasnt what I expected. It was much, much more than that. It honestly looks like the thing is wet in the box. Freakin' awesome Matt, freakin' awesome.
  20. Man, I was just bustin' your chops a little bit. I actually meant "where" in Chambersburg? I live in Fayetteville.
  21. LOL, I called him yesterday and said the same thing. GO STATE!!!
  22. Negative. Good point. ;D
  23. There could be quite a few reasons why they won't bite, one of which is the fact that they can see you. Sometimes that doesnt matter though and other things will tell the fish not to bite: A lure landing too close to them Your line laying on the water over their heads Sight fishing is up close fishing. Slow movements, precise presentations and the right bait all factor into your success.
  24. I dont think the Mossyback comes in a GLX, does it? Are you thinking about the MBR series? (Mag Bass Rod)
  25. You do realize that the PA bass spawn occurs mostly in May and June, right? 65 at Pymatuning? That seems awfully chilly, even for a northern PA lake. I dont know man.... :-? Where are you at in Chambersburg?
