  1. I could finish this Bacardi..I need someone take me to Waffle House later. If not, I'm steal my roommate's hot pocket.
  2. I have a harder time predicting what uniform the Ducks are going to wear than predicting the winner of the game....
  3. I'm same way..If one doesn't want to drink alcohol, that's fine and dandy, I have no problem with people that don't drink. It the people that don't drink then tried to tell me what to do I have a problem with. There quite few people like that around these parts.
  4. It's legal here. My neighbor has some he got from the liquor store. I haven't tried it yet. The liquor store near my apartment has some too along with jar of cherry soaked in moonshine. I don't know about that...
  5. Some people abuse drugs, some people don't. Some people just react to them different than others. I've known someone who been drinking for long as I've known them and they haven't had a negative impact on my life at all..On other hand I've seen friends who had relative in which both hard drugs and alcohol destroyed their relationships. Two guys I went high school with and grew up with died before graduation from overdose of prescription drugs. I only have drinks on the weekends. I don't binge drink. What I should be doing is having one 8 ounce of red wine every night, now that is healthy..that will extend your life.. So I've had read.... I believe in the balance of life. If you balance between drinking, eating, exercise, personal life, and work you will lead a normal life. If you spend too much time drinking, it could hurt you, you spend too much time eating, it could lead to many health problems. (which is why I don't get argument about high taxes on smoking because it causes health problems, so does eating unhealthy food excessively) Too much work and lack of personal life or the other way around could lead to unwanted stress which resort to abusing drugs. I always try to live a balance life. go fishing with my dad, ride bikes, backpacking, make a living, have a beer, eat healthy, etc. One of more thing, if you really hate drugs, don't drink soda. Please.
  6. More people use alcohol, thus, it does more damage than any other drugs. I'm sure if they do a study with same amount of people give one group meth and another group alcohol the result might be different. I'm no scientist of course, but I wouldn't be surprised if the results change... We're all dying anyway.
  7. I hope they close out that loophole.... I really dont see how they can unless they come back and suspend Newton and some point. How about changing the rules to: If the player's parents is found guilty of soliciting money, then the player is ineligible regardless of whether the player had knowledge of the event.
  8. I haven't had the 17 year but I like the regular Eagle Rare a lot. It's probably my favorite bourbon. I rarely drink liquor but when I do it's bourbon or some other whiskey. Right now I'm waiting to open a bottle of this: It's made by a small micro-distillery that uses Flying Dog Beer's equipment at their brewery in Colorado. That looks awesome....
  9. I hope they close out that loophole....
  10. We had a beer thread, so why not a liquor and mixed drink thread? I wanted pick up a bottle of Glenfiddich scotch tonight, but I didn't have 44.99 on me. Anybody else had it and want to vouch that it worth it? Drink smoothly?
  11. The whole things makes me laugh, his dad a preacher, most likely preach different between right and wrong and.....well. I'm tread lightly here.
  12. Yup. ;D
  13. Let me grab my armadillo hat and scotch. The ultimate survival kit! You cant afford a handle of Captain and you have scotch?!!! LOL I live above a liquor store, what do you want? I will commence the anarchy and looting... Give me a break it's the last week of the semester. Gotta show a little responsibility. ;D ;D P.S. that keg is actually empty, we're too lazy take it out apparently. ;D

  15. I know this is your opinion, but what makes you think they're still making "ton" of money off of it? Well it doesn't cost anywhere near $599 to make a tv. I wouldn't generally assumed from retail, they are making ton of money. Because lot of time the product goes from suppliers, manufacturer, wholesaler, to retailers. That how many times the price must change at each of those stops along the way charge in mark up for a profit. This is just the simple version, there are many other complex scenarios involved in price changes. Online selling can be cheaper because companies axe the middleman (wholesaler) and price of employees to run the store. Even if the store doesn't purchase the goods or pay the manufacture until the product is sold, they could still be selling the product at a loss in hope they sell enough of it and other products to cover it. (like Dan said) The contribution margin for manufacture is probably lower than you think it is. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't expect it to be 50% or higher.

  17. All I had was 20 bucks. ;D
  18. Here mine fridge at mine apartment. The freezer is full of hot pockets and bagel bites. Edit: Some of the stuff is my roommates, there are 4 of us sharing an apartment.
  19. Back in high school monster original and assault were my favorite. Red Bulls in 8oz can is what I get sometimes. I had a Monster Assault few weeks ago when I got up at 5am to study for an accounting test. It works. lol. I never experience any crashes, only when I'm lacking adequate sleep.
  20. Is getting rid of landline an option? I don't have a landline at my apartment.
  21. Why does tap beer taste better than bottled or can? Pick up the Coors Light homebrew 1.5 gallon keg for Alabama game tomorrow and it's MUCH MUCH better than the Coors Light in can or bottle...Tap always tastes better than bottle and can.
  22. Sevierville is a long way from Memphis. I like Sevierville, but jeez, it like the tourist are packed in that town like tuna in a can.
  23. If I ever have to fly, I might pop a blue pill beforehand. It could get interesting. ;D ;D
  24. So, what if a guy who from the Middle East, but born in America was pulled aside and decided to sue airport and what not for violation of civil right? Then what? I'm a guy from the Middle East born in America. I'm 25% Lebanese. Please interview me! I've got nothing to hide. Others may not see it that way, heck some of them may not wanted fly, just see if they get their rights violated and get free money. That what this country seems be coming to anyhow. I don't really agree with those x-ray machines or whatever heck they are, but screw it. Road trips are funnier.
