  1. There a class called Decision Science I'm struggling my arse off in that class. It's extremely hard to follow and hear the professor. Our last test, we had 6 problems and week and half to complete them and I still barely made a C. :-/ If I had that grade in my two accounting classes I would have to repeat the course or change my major. My midterm I had 3 As, 1 B and a C. I might end up with 2 As 2 Bs and a C. I definitely do not want do what I had to do in Decision Science in the future.... I might do Cost Accounting..I made a 100 on first test and after that it been a downward spiral. I can still make a B in the course if I do really well on final. My professor did say cost accounting is easier in real world than in classroom since you can see all the cost taking place. I'm 21 years old and 3 semesters short of major in accounting and minor in finance...and it feels like I'm losing desire. Maybe I'm just burned out and need the winter break. I guess it time to kick off Hell Week..off to library. So long world. :-/
  2. You ever wonder if you ever made the right decision in life? For instance, after high school graduation, I wasn't 100% sure why I wanted go to college. I thought about going culinary school or trade school. Then one night I decided I like business and wanted be good at it, therefore, I chose accounting. 2.5 years later and being inducted into the accounting honor society I have second thoughts on whether if this is what I want out of life. Some nights I feel like I have to force myself to study. I just wonder if I'd be happier doing something else, I mean I don't hate accounting or finance altogether, but I just feel I could be even happier doing something else... I don't know...
  3. Put options prevents losers. Thank you.
  4. Athletes like Cam loves street talk they disregard anything in English class. Here a conversation from The Family Guy: (The family is coming back from the basketball game) Peter: Hey nice job Chris! You wiped the floor with that towel! Chris: Yeah did you see me when that hottie was all up im ma kool aid!? Yeah I was about to break off a lil' somthin somthin but then my crew gave me the 411 on that skank and shes all about the bling-bling! (Peter slams on the breaks) Peter: Meg start reading at Pslam 41 and don't stop! The power of Christ compels you! The power of Christ compels you! (While Peter is squirting holy water in Chris's eyes) Lois: Peter what on earth are you doing?! Peter: The boy is speaking in tongues Lois! The power of Christ compels you! The power of Christ compels you! Lois: Peter stop it! He's not possessed! Meg: Yeah he's just talking street. A lot of kids do it. Peter: Oh. Well that's weird.
  5. To keep it simple, it similar to what ty said, but it also has do with fact you can make higher gain in financial market than you can from your house.... A guy bought a house next door from my parents that was bought off an auction well below the average price in my parents neighborhood and he might have made 15% gain off of it. I got couple individual stocks with higher gains than that. Whenever I get out of college and what not, I'm not going treat my home as an investment.....Sure I'd like to sell it for profit one day, but if I sell it for loss, fine I'll take the tax break to off-set the taxes I incurred from the financial market.
  6. I was told by a tech support dude I know, that if you leave your xbox in a tight space where there lack of airflow will melt the inside of xbox causing it to red ring. That was his theory on my xbox..Some other people I know who had their xbox for 3 years and going on with no problem has more air flow to the xbox. Mine xbox lasted about two years. With first year being in open space, then final few months I had it on a new shelf in tighter space. :-[
  7. Nothing girly about Mojitos....
  8. No. Will not happen. Just won't. It can't. Why would Urban, no, just no..
  9. Nope, a theory.
  10. Changing their names like that isn't really funny....Just saying... I like to see Chris Peterson at Florida.
  11. I can. But I'm not going hijack this thread.
  12. "There is no such thing as cold weather, just an absence of heat."
  13. Urban is still a long way from iriving on the keyboard. ;D
  14. He'll be back tomorrow. I've been saying that joke since I heard the news. "He'll pull a Brett Farve, again." ;D
  15. Beer is better for you than soda. My list: Sweet tea Hot Tea Hot Chocolate Water Gatorade/Powerade Beer Fruit juices.
  16. I just assumed they didn't read it, or the rates with prepayment was lower than the one without. I don't have a mortgage nor am I a mortgage expert, but I wouldn't be surprised if contracts with prepayments had lower rates than ones without. Simply because the higher rate in contract without prepayment reflect the risk of the individual paying off mortgage early. Just a theory, I don't know a lot about mortgage. ;D
  17. I'm assuming your mortgage do not have a prepayment penalty..Those are most asinine provision in a mortgage contract... : I understand why, but still. lol.
  18. I thought procrastination would be my downfall. I was wrong. I cannot focus to save my arse.. I've sat here all night with cost accounting book open for the test tomorrow and I cannot focus on studying the steps and procedures.... :-/ This isn't good....
  19. X2. I also played baseball growing up and walked off the team in high school, it just wasn't the same. I haven't fish much at all this year when after I left the baseball team I did nothing but fish. This year I've been on the mountain biking and backpacking phase with no sign of losing interest.

  22. I'm going to assume you're serious. Patron is owned my John Paul DeJoria. The same guy that makes shampoo. Nuff said. Guess I won't be spending 54 bucks on a bottle of it anytime soon. ;D
  23. You can buy it here in Johnson City, Tennessee. You can buy it where my parents live in Morristown, Tennessee which borders Newport, Tennessee home of the legendary Popcorn Sutton. The one here in Johnson City at the liquor store, the sign says "Brewed in North Carolina." My neighbor in Morristown said the liquor store in Morristown got theirs from Gatlinburg.
  24. I would like to try Patron, what your opinion on it?
  25. It is harmless! The people that drink it aren't. I don't understand how you think that it's the alcohols' fault if someone gets hurt. If the person has induced alcohol and gets hurts, it more than likely the alcohol's fault. Our point to Fishingbud was that it personal choice and drinking it to a certain limit. It a lot like a doctor telling you not to take more than 3 pills in 24 hour span.. Someone once told me alcohol will kill you, I replied so will many other things that aren't drugs. I actually got in trouble in high school for saying that to a drug education teacher that came and spoke to mine class that day. 5 years later and I'm 21 years old and I still stand by that statement.
