  2. You want my opinion, that is being dishonest. Especially if you fully know it a mistake.
  3. Best thing about college compare to high school, is professors like this: http://www.etsu.edu/cas/history/documents/civwdb.htm The above is a link to a syllabus for my history class. I'm aware the professor made a couple typos, he told us in class he screws up all the time when it comes to typing on computers. He an old guy with glasses that looks like Tommy Chong. Best. Professor. Ever. Some of the things he says in class cannot be repeated on here. :D
  4. Agreed.
  5. I have a background in retailing, sometimes it not even the store's fault. I've seen bratty kids playing with price stickers and randomly moving them around when parents aren't watching..... Even adults do this just because they have a grudge with the store and they hope some other consumers hassle with manager over it..It sad, but it's true. I always believe honesty is the best policy. Were all humans, we make mistakes. In this case, you should be honest and point out the mistake and maybe some managers will give you a discount for pointing it out...You were planning to purchase it at its normal price anyway, right? (well, in some cases) It irritated me when I was at Kmart and customers had a nasty attitude over crap like this. Whoever said "the customer is always right" should come back from the grave and be smacked in the mouth many times with a sock full of nickle. In my opinion. If I grab a merchandise that was mislabeled and didn't know it, I just kindly grab another merchandise if the price is vastly different. Depending on what I'm buying. I'm not going waste my time arguing and haggling with employees. I got better things to do.
  6. Almost forgot, our first night was spent next to Big Creek. Caught 4 trouts and had a rainbow trout on the line and couldn't get a handle on him when we got him to the bank. My partner caught this.
  7. Did another 26 miles epic in the Smoky Mountain. I was suppose go to the Linville Gorge, but permit issues forced me go to the Smokies at the last minute.
  8. Not if they play Alabama. Alabama more balance on offense than LSU. And just as nasty on defense, if not nastier.
  9. That bridge thing had me laughing hard. Funny stuff.
  10. I don't get all the Apple users either. I bought into the smartphone craze and now I'm not even excited for it anymore. The GPS feature on my phone and the internet came in handy a couple times when I'm away from my house, but otherwise I only use it for texting and phone calls. I got tired of playing games and when I want play games it will drain my battery. I'd probably be happy if I still had my normal phone. I dropped it in a creek and that led to buying a smartphone. When it comes time to change phone, I'll probably go back to a regular phone unless I find more use for a smartphone, work wise.

  12. My professor gave us a zipped file that requires extraction. So, I extracted the file for the assignment, but when I go to open the folder a box appeared and it said "This file is located outside your intranet or on an untrusted site. Microsoft Access will not open the file due to potential security problems. To open the file, copy it to your machine or an accessible network location." I don't understand what this means? I also tried to open the file using Internet Explorer and when Internet Explorer extracts the file, Access opens the file, but it says in bold "The database 'Query Assignment S&S' is read-only" Then it proceed to say "You won't be able to save changes made to data or object definitions in this database." Then when it shows me the file, I can see all the tables, but when I click on Queries, it won't show any of the tables nor can I start a query. I do not have Access 2007, but my dad had a disc for 2003 that I installed and did previous assignments with this version. I don't understand why the file will not open for me nor let me run a query? Any suggestion(s) would be appreciated. The course syllabus says we can use Access 2000 and up. I've already e-mailed my professor and he hasn't replied yet and the assignment is due tonight at 11:59pm. I have to run 9 different queries and I want it done before Alabama/Florida game at 8pm..I hate computers and computers hate me.
  13. How are you guys enjoying college football season to this point? Alabama defense flex nuts against Arkansas. They are looking more solid each week. Eddie Lacy has impressed me this season, last year in mop up role he wasn't anything spectacular, but this season he is a great compliment to Richardson. Bring on the gators.
  14. I wouldn't trust a Notre Dame player to deliver my pizza, he might drop it.
  15. Whatever helps you sleep at night.
  16. Alabama hiding? Come on, we open up against Clemson and VT the last couple seasons and are schedule to open up against VT again next year. This is most quality team LSU open up to in recent memory... And to get back on topic, look at Alabama defense. Let just hope the offense get to more consistent level as season progress before it's too late.
  17. I didn't see the entire LSU/Oregon game, but in first half it looks like LSU was matching Oregon's speed stride for stride, they just lacked an offensive game. All sudden late in 2nd half Oregon's defense couldn't push LSU's offensive line around....It got ugly for Oregon after that. I just might be a believer that Kellen Moore is the best QB in college football today...Those passes were deadly accurate...
  18. So, what was everyone's impression on week one? Alabama's defense look solid against an inferior opponent. A.J. McCarron looks better throwing the ball in game situation than Sims. One of McCarron's interception went through the hand of the receiver, so that forgivable. However, 5 total turnovers bugged me. That cannot happen next week on the road at Penn State... The Baylor and TCU game was crazy, and I swear Auburn has more luck than any team I had ever come across except for LSU...Maybe more than LSU...
  19. Do I smell a business venture?
  20. Too much distractions, Oregon will probably beat them next weekend.(and they aren't that good of a team either) Suspensions are coming. Count on it. Assuming Les Miles got the guts to suspend players that have already broke team policy...If not, then we know where Les Miles stand when he says he will suspend players and do not..
  21. Count LSU out of the BCS. http://espn.go.com/blog/sec
  22. I should also point out that I know another guy that had a *** roommate and he told me when he bought guys home, was kind of odd getting used too. Otherwise the guy was good roommate. Never stole food, always cleaned up after himself, and talking to him was like talking anyone else. You'll be alright unless the guy turned out to be a total psycho which isn't limit to *** guys. Straight guys can be total psycho too.
  23. I'll check it out, I'm afraid my battery might not last..lol.
  24. Look on bright side, a g.ay guy usually knows a lot of hot chicks..Just be friends with him he might introduce you to some of them.
  25. Bingo.
