My dog Gizmo passed away today, we had to put him to sleep. For the last 14 years he has been the closest thing to a brother I've ever had, I lost a part of me today. This was me holding him while I was four and my sister was one. I'm almost nineteen now, he has been in my life as long as I can remember.

Yeah I started looking into that, I didn't know that gasoline went bad honestly... How long is it usually good for before it starts to go downhill? Edit: Sorry, missed that you mentioned how long it last.

I use startron when I am not using ethanol free gasoline.

The engine runs fine, it just has alittle hiccup every now and again, and it kinda seems like it happens less when fresh fuel is in it.... That might just be in my head though, the carb should be fine, I soaked it not too long ago. The fuel lines are less than a year old, probably more around 6 months old. The fuel filter is old as crap, that could possibly be the problem too.

It seems the longer my boats gas sits the more performance goes down, atleast it seems that way or maybe its in my head, or maybe its just my old ass engine haha (1985)... Do you close your vent cap when your storing your boat? I'm thinking that maybe condensation or something like dust is getting in the vent on my tank so I'm gonna try closing it after fishing from now on and see if it makes a difference.

This is the second time now I've canceled my fishing plans on my day off because the weather channel said thunderstorms and high winds only to change two hours later to the complete opposite. I woke at 6am today and was gonna be on the water by 7am until I turn on the weather and it said there was a 70% chance of thunderstorms at 9am then it would calm down and resume at 1pm. So I was like, ugh whatever I'll just go another day instead of having to worry about getting struck by lightning, then at 9 am I am wondering where this thunderstorm is and now the weather channel is saying light winds and sunshine until 1pm... So there goes a perfectly good day of fishing.

Getting skunked isn't uncommon at the lakes I fish most, there just isn't a bunch of really good fisheries around me that are closer than an hour drive. The lake I fish most, banks lake, is a salad bowl and the one day tournaments can be won with as little weight as a 10lb bag.

Hahaha, I've left the straps on too, I felt so embarrassed, I was scratching my head wondering why the boat wasn't coming off the trailer until I realized the whole trailer was floating off the ground because I didn't unhook the straps lol

Got a membership to a local gym and started weight training and running again, only been back lifting for like 2 weeks and I feel way better mentally and physically... Surprised I can still run well haha, I guess I just have running in my blood... I want to run a marathon eventually, I've ran halves but never a full one, it'd be nice to get one under my belt!

I got an 80$ cover from academy that had three huge holes in it after only a month or two.... Now I use a 10ft * 20ft 25$ blue tarp and just use four tent stakes and some string to keep it tight, the rain rolls off a lot better for me with this setup too.

Went to go start my engine this morning and the starter was really weak, like it tried to turn but barely... Then I smelled something burning so I hurried and took the cover off and smoke was coming from the bottom of the starter! What could cause this? Its probably not fix-able right?

The tractor supply I work at just switched to them and I get an ear full from every customer I have to tell that they must use the chip in their card...

d**n, 5:46 is pretty good considering you just started running... Getting under 5 takes a long time... But it is such a good feeling when you finally get it, I've always only been interested in long distance running but when I broke 5 minutes in the mile it was still amazing. I need to start running again... I'm so outta shape compared to when I wrestled and ran XC in highschool... What was your 5k time?
