First off the hook itself is great, caught my PB on it today in fact... But every time I caught a fish the lure keeper would get ripped off or pushed all the way down to the hook bend, does this happen to everyone? Did I perhaps leave them in the sun to long and make the plastic holding them on go bad? Love these hooks though they are very strong and SHARP!

Caught this girl flipping a missle D bomb into some thick cover, yelled so loud a kayaker came thinking I was hurt/drowning... Thanks for all the help bass resource community y'all are the best! Haha, I remember one time last year I was about to leave the lake after loading the boat up when the guy loading his boat next to me asked If I caught any and after I answered I asked him same question, he said "yeah I caught some good ones!" So he opens his live well to show me and there are like 4 or 5 big mudfish that were like 5lbs a piece... So I guess some people love eating them!

Yup, plenty of people eat them, in Louisiana a lot of people consider their caviar a delicacy! That's a good bowfin!

Your doing something wrong. You only had this happen to you when you were new to braid? Well maybe you just didn't know how to tie the knot, you don't need to double a palamor.

I gave up on tying the clinch knot with braid... I use three knots now, the Palamor, San Diego Jam, and a Snell.

Rage craws and beaver baits work great on a drop shot! Just because its a drop shot doesn't mean you have to use a tiny hook and small fluorocarbon, try it on a bait caster with heavier line and hooks.

I love my tatula, I don't really think the T-wing has any added benefits but it doesn't have any negatives ethier, great reel for a great price.

My tatula has gotten a lot "louder" when I reel it since I bought it like more than a year ago and I assumed it was just from me not getting in cleaned but I have a friend that says he has heard that tatulas get loud after awhile and even if you clean them it doesn't help, any truth to that? Have any of y'all gotten your tautla cleaned and it stopped the noise? I'm not really bothered by the sound I'm just curious. Another question for people who have owned a tatula awhile, is your tatula even that noisy?
