  1. Wash your hands in JJ's magic!
  2. You get used to it... I fish squarebills alot and my gear is definitely less than optimal but I don't get that wore out from it, but it ain't like your gonna be feeling like a new man at the end of the day haha!
  3. Yeah I was looking at these too i know alot of people love them, I wouldn't mind spending more than 60$ just not a whole lot more...
  4. This reel is on sale for 70$ on TW, wonder how long that sale will last...
  5. A year or two ago my uncle caught a bass that maxed out his 10lb spring scale from a pond on a farm that wasn't very big at all, it wouldn't take you 5 minutes to swim across that's for sure!
  6. I might get some money for graduation as a gift and I was thinking about getting a few rods & reel, I'll probably be buying one or two H2O ethos rods and might get one or two baitcasters for around 60$ a piece. What have you used around that price range that you like? I was thinking about the H2O mettle (60$) because I have used some and they are pretty good reels for the money but what about reels like the shimano caius, diawa laguna or arid, pfleuger echelon, etc etc... There are so many options....
  7. Can bedding panfish like bream also muddy up water? One small lake I fish has gotten pretty muddy but we haven't had a lot of rain or really windy weather, the only thing I could thing of it there are a ton of bedding bream right now all over the lake...
  8. Those jumpers are straight flaw dawg, but yolo right? YEET YEET!
  9. Okay gotcha, that clears it up, I was just wondering where you stood.
  10. The definition of bogus is not true or fake. Is that what you believe? That the everyone on the patriots are innocent and they did nothing wrong? Just wondering if that's what you meant by that.
  11. IMO, spider wire is junk that falls apart quickly. That's been my experience with all their braid products but I do know some people use it and like it...
  12. Lol and some people are saying this penalty is harsh...
  13. Wow, hope all goes well for you!
  14. Some people think sunscreen repels bass too but I think its a load of honkey.
  15. Depends how much you use it and what your using it for, I've been using 30lb braid for flipping lately and cut off a lot of it to retie when it gets frayed.
  16. I would like to try the Ned rig but I doubt it would work where I fish... Tons of grass, silty bottoms, and low visibility water doesn't sound like a good combination for the Ned rig.... I have caught a lot of bowfin on something like the Ned rig, a senko cut in half on a jig head.
  17. Just organize them into to groups biggest to smallest, if they are all the same brand then you should be able to tell what */0 they are.
  18. You never know so might as well try it! I have cracked a few accidentally smashing them on a tree or the boat during a cast...
  19. Dang those are some awesome fish! I bet it was a blast landing them with a fly rod!
  20. 100k to join a bass club???... Yeeesh..... Sounds like you had a great time!
  21. Caught my first chatterbait fish! It was a tough morning. All the fish have moved offshore at this small lake and the water is very muddy. Caught this one and another on a lipless crankbait...
  22. Yeah, I'll definitely be doing some things differently in the next ttournament I'm in...
  23. My favorites are the original and super slick Power Pro braided lines.
  24. I can already tell flipping and pitching big weights into heavy grass is going to become an absolute favorite for me... I've been catching more big (for me) bass flipping lately than I ever have on any other lure/technique. But for stuff I'm more familiar with, squarebills, 10-12 inch worms, swim jigs, Texas rigged creature baits, and frogs are some stuff I love to use during the summer!
