Catch and Grease

The leak from the carburetor turned out to be a gasket, fixed that and now it is running like it should. I even got to put it in the water for little. I found another thing that needs fixing though, there's some kind of line that goes to the back of the engine that looks like it carries air and it has a small leak.

Well nevermind there's another freaking leak somewhere behind the carburetor, its amazing how it runs like a champion out of the water for 2 days then BOOM I go to the lake and it won't even try to start. fantastic.

Dang, I read the title and I thought you caught a 14lb bass.... Still some nice fish though good job!

I'd be more worried about the bucket brigades than the catch and release fishermen....

Yeah I replaced all the fuel lines, completly cleaned the carburetor, bought new gaskets, replaced the spark plugs, and then fixed this leaking thing and now it's finally running again... It wasn't going as fast as it should the days before it finally quit so maybe that problem has also been solved, I'll have to just get it out on the water to know for sure because I didn't get a chance today... I also fixed the electric start by replacing the solenoid, but after all this now the electric choke decided to stop working.... Fix one thing and another pops up! But hey atleast it's running now!

I took the part back off and noticed it was a little warped so I sanded down one side and it fit a lot better and stopped the leakage, now it runs like a sowing machine! Thanks guys!

I just replaced all the gaskets so I should just need the blue part I guess...

I have a leak on this part connected to the carborator, its the part the fuel line attaches to. What is this called and why would it be leaking? Should I just go ahead and replace it and see if that works, my dad said there only like 5$ online... Its leaking around the circle where it connects to the carborator. Apparently its called a carborator cover strainer...

Look up mikeybalzz on YouTube he has tons and tons of videos about punching grass... Not so much on pads but it's pretty much the same.

I've been catching most of my good un's flipping lately... I started using punch rigs for the first time too, got one from seibert outdoors and I'll definitely be ordering more when I lose this one.

Flipping/pitching baits would have... Rage Bug Rage Craw Sweet Beaver D Bomb Brush hog I'm also liking this lure by Big Bite Baits called the kriet creature....

I haven't been flipping all that long but I've noticed I lose a lot more fish and don't get as good of a hook set if I don't set the hook straight up vertically... It seems that if I try to set the hook more diagonally it doesn't work nearly as good

Rally up all your fishing buddies and tell them to round up all their fishing buddies and have a protest! Lol
