  1. I like the trick worm waaay better than the senko, trick worms can be Texas rigged, Carolina rigged, put on a Shakey head, just about anything... But I do still like senkos a lot but I just LOVE trick worms.
  2. Do you guys ever like Texas rigging a fluke, not weightless but with a bullet sinker on the line? Or does this just ruin the action of the bait. I'm not super experienced with flukes and usually just fish them weightless.
  3. I've came close to getting a couple of LC RC 1.5 but always talk myself out of it... I might go pick one up eventually because everyone worships it haha
  4. I guess I just got the bad egg of the bunch then lol it kept wanting to go to the left alittle outta the box
  5. Most crankbaits I buy and use don't run good out of the package, there are plenty of very good crankbaits I own that didn't run good out of the box. Ima have to disagree with ya on that but too each his own!
  6. Thanks for all the replies guys, I'm gonna pick up a 7.1 when I get the chance, I guess it is a lot easier to slow down with a fast reel than to speed up with a slow one...
  7. Man this is a great crankbait I bought one and went to our pond just to tune it and caught three bass in three cast. It didnt run good right out of the box (the bass didn't care haha) but after messing with it the thing runs great! If anyone hasn't tried one yet go get one!
  8. Yeah I've been leaning towards the 7.1 but I might occasionally use it for square bills and for that I like a 6.4...
  9. Which is a better gear ratio for a reel that I'm going to only be using for jigs and soft plastics? Which do you prefer I want a curado I but I dunno which gear ratio I want yet
  10. I used it but didn't catch anything or get any strikes, it seems like a good lure and I'm definitely gonna try it again.
  11. I like wacky rigging senkos when im sight fishing for shallow bass but other than that I've never cared much for a wacky rig
  12. Yeah I was thinking the same thing about the rattle, I'm going fishing in the evening and I'll let y'all know what I think about it after fishing it.
  13. Anybody think this is a good lure? I just bought one to try it out but I hear the paint comes off easy and the hooks hardly get the fish. Should I bend the hooks up a bit?
  14. What line do you guys prefer for your backing? Just dirt cheap mono?
  15. ×2 for square bill crank in wood cover!
  16. Bruised banana zoom trick worm!
  17. The ones I like the most and I use are the telescopic poles with rings on the end, you slide one ring or the guiding system onto your line and work it down to the lure then wiggle it until the trebles are wrapped all in the rings then pull it out! Sometimes it will bend your hooks out but hey better than losing the lure.
  18. No bass the first night :/ got two good catfish though... My reels got sand in them and I had fun cleaning them haha

  20. I'm at the river and I'm going fishing in a few hours, its super high and muddy due to flooding but I'm still gonna try!
  21. I already bought some megastrike shakey heads and they are supposed to be delivered Wednesday, I'll get back to y'all and tell y'all if I like em'
  22. I love using jigs in clear water with lots of cover, when we are flipping and pitching into heavy cover in clear water even with really heavy line I don't think it makes a difference because the fish thinks the line is just some more grass, in more open water its debatable whether or not you should have a leader. I like aqua green power pro super slick for jigs in clear water.
  23. There is a lake on moody Air Force base here in valdosta I fish and it has signs everywhere saying the bass have high levels of toxic things in them and I see people keeping them all the time, bass is good but that's just not worth it haha
  24. What lures would you never leave the house with on a river fishing trip? I'm going river fishing this weekend during a camping trip but I don't wanna take alot of my tackle due to limited space. I'm bringing a small tackle box with all my cat fishing stuff and some spools of leader line. For bass fishing I'm bringing a jitterbug, lipless crank, squarebill crank, 4 spinnerbaits, trickworms, craws, and swimbaits. Is there anything else y'all would try to cram into this small box??
  25. Smallest - 1/16 oz hair jig Largest - 12" berkly power worm with 6/0 EWG hook and the weight I use with it depends
