If your talking about the bolts that mount the outboard to the transom then I'm not missing any of them, the left one just looks like its missing because its got black junk covering it.
When I hooked the muffs up to the engine this morning and ran water through the outboard I noticed water coming from the middle part of the outboard like you can see in this picture, is that normal? I've never noticed it before...
Not good, I got a good hit while flipping some grass and my grandpa lost one but we came out empty handed... That place is really grown up with grass now, I fished it early last year and it wasn't nearly as bad... There are still some great bass in there but I'd definitely say summer is not a great time to go because the grass is ridiculous but that's how most lakes around here are....
If you go back in the river it has running into it it is 100 times less ate up with grass and you can find some deeper water so that would be your best shot I would think
Man, how about the cubs? The last team I expected to sweep were the giants! Them being our main competition for the wild card is HUGE! The cubs have been playing so good lately I really believe they are capable of winning it all this season! They really need to tighten up a lot of things though if they want to go that far...
Mines a 1980 mercury 25hp and ya it definitely starts better if its hot and sunny outside and not morning time...
The carb should be tuned right because we just got it back from a expert recently.
Yeah I tried that a few hours ago at around 12, pumped the bulb, choked it, pushed the throttle up a bit and it started great with one turn of the key!
Hopefully it'll start that good during the morning time as well.
I'm pretty sure to give it some extra RPM at start up you push in the "throttle only" button then push the handle forward, that gives it some extra throttle while staying in neutral.
I put a new primer bulb on and after I was finished I just took the top off the outboard to look and figured out one of the (what I believe is called) recirculation hose slipped off and came undone. That would explain why the engine sneezed one or two times while I was leaving the lake today...
The primer is really beat up and I think it should be replaced I picked one up today but haven't put it in yet. No I'm not positive there isn't a fuel delivery problem...
You sound a little agitated... I was just saying that I followed the procedure you gave me and its still hard to start, I would troubleshoot myself but I'm just gonna wait and let another family member look at it. Sorry for my whining...
Me and my grandpa went to a place called reed bingham fishing this morning and got skunked but he caught a HUGE bowfin we didn't get a pic but it had to be over 12lbs....
