  1. If you can score this setup, that's your girl
  2. X2...usually 14-16 lb leader
  3. You are probably stuck on a small flange of fiberglass mounding inside the tunnel area. Did you tape/attach the new wire to the end of the old wire and are pulling it through? I have found if you have someone pull some tension on the old wire backwards as you pull it through may help. If not, just keep pulling backwards and forwards; it usually pops through.
  4. Welcome man. Tell me one thing though, "Who does #2 work for?!"
  5. I'm sorry to hear that man. But, I'm glad to hear it wasn't worse. She could have laid her cheek on it or something. Hope she does well.
  6. http://www.frequency.com/video/ice-fishing-in-bayburt-for-more-videos/220392584 What kind of fish are those? Are they stuck in a pocket or something?
  7. BOOM SHAKALAKA G G G G GIANT BASS!!
  8. You and I know that there are only small fish in Maine...move along, nothing to see here
  9. As fun as it sounds, you really don't want that. Any of you remember the old Bassmaster forum?.....
  10. Remember, though, that using a fluoro leader isn't always about visibility. Braid will cut like paper against a rock. I fish a lot of pretty green water and wouldn't need a leader for visibility but all my water is rocky so I always use one on my jig, worm, any bottom presentation etc...
  11. I usually just pull off about 2 outstretched arms length. I cut and retie until about 3 ft long; then new leader time.
  12. 1st half goes to Breaking Bad pharmacy and the "twerking" one...whatever they were promoting???....
  13. We got 28" on the "blizzard", another 8 on friday and scheduled for another 10-12 tomorrow. EDIT: They just upped today to 15"...great
  14. I have to strongly echo this. I was using a small charger/maintainer for years and thought I was properly charging my batteries. I spoke with an Interstate rep and he explained the difference between a car/starting battery charger and a marine/deep cycle specific charger; very different charge profile. I know I bashed Interstate in an earlier post but, with all fairness to them, it may have been my charging habits. But, as humans naturally do, it still left a bad taste in my mouth about them. Back to chargers; once I picked up a dedicated marine on-board charger, my battery life doubled (on the water time). So, if you are using a typical car battery charger, you may be doing yourself and your batteries a big injustice.
  15. The Kinami Flash in Junebug was one killer stickbait. Anyone got some they wanna part with? Any sources for them?
  16. I just pull straight off the reel and go by feel.
  17. Well, I sell Interstate so obviously I have them in my boat now but I'll also be honest with you in telling you I will never run another one. I have had trouble (dead cells) with 3 of them in under 2 years. As the ones I have now go bad, I'll be replacing them with AC Delco. I have an AC Delco as my starting battery and I think it's going on 5 years old now and performs like it was new. Granted it's not cycled like my TM batteries but still. I have also heard good things about the Everstart line from Wally World.
  18. Well, being a family friendly site and all, the "really good" jokes need be personal messaged
  19. Keep in mind that the employees there really don't know how to merchandise very well so be sure to go up and down every single isle; including the saltwater isles. I have found some good bass stuff mixed in with the saltwater stuff.
  20. Definitely a fish I'd like to tangle with! Just don't go looking for them first...
  21. The latest, and of course we have to live in the "white zone"...
  22. I hope it all goes well for you man; I'm sure it will. I had shoulder surgery last January and it's great now. All last season was far better than it had been for years; so glad I had it done. As said above, just a small hiccup. Stay positive and do your PT exercises as advised. I can't stress enough about being religious with your PT.
  23. I have used braid for years and recently tried fluoro on my jig rod. I'm pretty sensitive to changes like that and I'll tell you, the stretch I felt in fluoro was horrible for me. I don't have a very hard hookset and with fluoro it was even worse. I stripped it all off and went back to braid/fluoro leader for all my t-rigged presentations and jigs. That's just me though,,,try it for yourself.
  24. Welcome bro. I used to live in Corpus Christi years ago. Did a lot of speckled trout, redfish fishing. Man it was great! Really started my fishing there. Then my Dad wanted to retire in Maine and that introduced me to Mr. Bass.
