  1. It just does....
  2. A lot of marine engines use a "surface gap" plug for clearance reasons. Although they are not "marine" specific, they are the correct plug for the engine. I run NGK in my Merc. NGK or Nippendenso are good brands but the most important thing is to get the correct plug for the engine. You have to have the correct length, thread, gap etc...
  3. lol one of the best movies ever!
  4. I use window units and, even in Maine, I put them in around May 1st. We all like being comfortable and when its hot and sticky, no one is happy. We all have a little allergy to pollen so I like to keep the windows closed and use ac. As mentioned above, it also keeps the mold away and I really feel we are healthier with a closed, air conditioned house than with windows open or high humidity.
  5. I'll never not have a si unit. I dont use it to directly find fish but to find structure, therefore finding fish. I now have hundreds of waypoints on my home lake so I always have spots.
  6. I want to try that Pad Daddy by BizBaits http://www.bizzbaits.com/product/pad-daddy/
  7. The first step is admitting it works. Don't fight it. Feel the flow...circular...you pay your quarter and you go round and round...harness the good, block out the bad...all good things
  8. Doing much better now. I had the cast removed, the 17 staples out: Cleaned up a bit and now Im in this brace for the next 4 weeks. It has stoppers to limit the angle I can bend. Its set at 90 degrees for 2 weeks, then I can adjust it to 100 for a week, then 110 for the last week. Then it comes off and I should be able to start PT. My wife thinks Im crazy but I think I can reel like this...
  9. I see them sold out everywhere. Anyone finding them? (anyone who doesn't want them that is...)
  10. probably the best bang for the buck right there
  11. congrats man; thats great! my oldest is graduating high school in a month and then off to college. that graduation seems so far away but im sure it goes by quick.
  12. id start by taking the prop off and checking the splines on the prop and shaft; go from there.

  16. well it's definitely worse than my shoulder. just when i think its doing better it starts aching like crazy. i think i'm doing more than i should. i hav a hard time staying still and find myself doing laundry, dishes etc... i gotta slow down. thanks for asking ace, i appreciate everyone's concern.
  17. i hope you get that worked out bill.
  18. this^^^ i scored a huge deal with the sporting goods manager of my local wally world on some clearance strike king stuff. just ask, they want it gone. i also took advantage of some mis tagged weights at dicks last year. i have piles of tungsten.
  19. ^^ what a coincidence. sounds very similar to mine. well i hope you recover soon as well.
  20. i agree with all the above; any old voltmeter will work. having said that, the best way to test a battery for state of charge is with a battery hydrometer. around $8 at any auto parts store. youtube some vids on testing battery specific gravity. very easy. wear safety glasses.
  21. i like tying direct. i find snaps/swivels catch too much grass. i also like my plastics to appear as natural as possible. i do use a snap on my crankbait rod but not on anything else. once you make up your mind that you are going to tie direct, you realize it only takes a second to retie and you lose a whole 3 inches of your line.
  22. ^^^ i've gotten useless in eustis
