  1. Sick combo! Very solid feeling!
  2. They come with same color screwed end caps.
  3. Caught this monster on a senko
  4. I'm guessing you are planning to spend $1000 for your new tackles. To me it doesn't need to be four $250 combos. Spend more on your bottom contact rod and less for moving baits.
  5. For that price if you can get a new one. TDZ R+ no brainer.
  6. I know my answer may out your budget but I'd say go and get a better reel like curado or tatula. The problem for cheaper combos is if you want sell them later they almost worth nothing. If you get a curado even after been used for couple years you can still sell it for $80-90. That's pretty good deal to me.
  7. My TD Z family. One of them will be leaving for new home soon.
  8. Major craft offers some nice BFS rods with reasonable price.
  9. Hooked a 3.5 pounder on first cast (pretty decent size in north OH). As you can see on pic 1 the bank is high and steep (around 10 ft above the water) so finally I lost it.Pic 2 is interesting. I wanna try the TYPE R+ spool for a longtime and finally got one. Use the normal set up and got a really bad backlash on first cast. When I was clearing it I feel something is moving on the other side of the line. I pulled the line with my hand and set the hook. It took me another minute to fix the backlash and fortunately the fish is still there. Not a big one but still fun.
  10. Curious what are the rods with half white and half black?
  11. Beautifully day on the water and really enjoying the MG7 with yumeya BFS spool. Caught a few fish nothing big but lots of fun. The rod is Majorcraft corkish 602m. Perfect two pcs rod for traveling and bank fishing with lots of trees and bushes.
  12. $2500 worth of tackles in one hand. How's that feel
  13. Not sure where's the best place to post it but it's on my short list!
  14. I was watching it. Nice score especially with the pricy knobs!
  15. How do you like the CXX line? I tried 12 lb CXX and it's terrible, even the line conditioner doesnt help. Most of my BFS reels have 6 lb hybrid but I would like to try something new.
  16. Not sure about your budget but BPS extreme have some decent travel rods. If you are willing to pay more fenwick methods is also nice.
  17. I have a XG and like it. But one thing I really curious is why there are so many metaniums on the market.
  18. The Steez sv and t3 are definitely different cause you can drop the t3 svl in a steez but can use the steez sv in t3. Also the steez sv is around $30 more than t3. For the performance I think they should be the same, which makes me feel stupid paying extra for the Steez sv.
  19. As some of you may know the new XXH zillion and Alphas sv. There are a few new Daiwas showed up on Daiwa Japan webpage. New Tatula HLC and Ryoga Shrapnel! http://all.daiwa21.com/fishing/item/reel/bait_rl/tatula_hlc/index.html http://all.daiwa21.com/fishing/item/reel/bait_rl/ryoga_shrapnel/index.html Not a big fan of Ryoga but TWS plus the HLC spool seems interesting.
  20. Any 50 size shimano or a Daiwa pixy can handle that easily. If you want more extreme just add a yumeya BFS spool.
  21. 4.7 oz is impressive. However to be honest it would be difficult to balance on most rod especially for heavier applications.
  22. Am I the only person feel those two reels look like ninja turtles?
  23. Got two shimanos as soon as my wife left the country for a two month trip. Also got a few pairs of knobs to match the spools on TDZ.
  24. My latest BFS arsenal. Planning to sell the presso cause it's too nice to fish. May end up selling one more but would be a hard decision.
  25. I guess that's why this bait was sold in Japan cause bass don't know English
