  1. I've never used a trailer hook on mine and don't think you need one. Bass usually don't have any problems zeroing in on the noise.
  2. It's a cool pic, frame that thing.
  3. Now that's neat. Now all you have to do is teach him to catch a bucket of crappie!
  4. A $250 fish...way to go!
  5. You did good. I wish our WalMart would have clearances like they use to. Its been a long time since I've made a good haul from WalMart.
  6. Nice catch. Have you ever fished Jacksonville Lake? I fished that lake last year with my brother and had a blast. They say Jacksonville is one of the best bass lakes in Illinois.
  7. First bass of the year always feels good. Nice lake, those stand-ups in the background make my mouth water!
  8. Great catch! Look at the gut on that girl, she's getting ready.
  9. Nice bass, and on 4 pound test! You should share that with the world on youtube.
  10. Holy pig farm Batman, I mean Big-O, those are a couple of HAWGS!
  11. Boat: Ocean Kayak Rods: Dobyns Reels: Shimano Line: Trilene Pro Grade Fluorocarbon Hard baits: LC BDS Cranks, RC Wake Soft baits: Manns Jellyworms, Gene Larew Lizards & Hoo Daddys Storage: Plano CDS 3770
  12. I have 12 I use and another 60+ stored new in the box. It's a good crank, just as good as the DT IMO. My favorite is a special that is chartreuse with black back that is a killer and has caught me a lot of bass.
  13. I agree. However, if this is not an option for you, install a second connector up front and carry a second battery. I did this on my PT 175 and placed the second battery in the small compartment under the front seat.
  14. What kind of boat do you have?
  15. 1. Frog body too stiff. 2. Not using braid. 3. Not using a fast action rod.(You want that rod to load-up fast.)
  16. How is XT with top water baits?
  17. That's easy, I'd buy $100 worth of jelly worms.
  18. I want a 7 1/2 - 8 ft heavy power, xfast or fast action rod to pull em out of the slop.
  19. Gene Larew's 8" lizard. It has a pocket on it that you can stick a piece of foam in and it will float real nice. Oh yeah, almost time to walk the lizards across the beds.
  20. I still have the one-piece cane pole I used as a boy. It's dry and brittle, about 60 years old and I only keep it for sentimental reasons. Couldn't cast it, but it has landed a lot of fish. I also had a metal band aid box to carry a few weights, extra line, and hooks. Take along a couple of fried egg sandwiches and you were ready for a day at the lake.
  21. Yes sir, here is one showing a guy towing another kayaker with a Torque.
  22. Just make sure you get a black one for fishing those nights under a new moon. Had a lot of luck last year with one of those.
  23. Who knows, you may end up inventing the next generation of helicopter lures! :
  24. Good sale on winning tackle from past Classics. Saved $6 a spool on Trilene and $2 a bottle on the KVD line conditioner.
