I have actually ridden in a stolen buss.
We went canoing once and wen you get off the river the buss takes you back to your campsite. So we get off river at the designated spot and load up on the buss. Only one problem there is no driver? So someone in another group decides and I quote "f-this if we wait any longer I'll run out of beer" . So he gets another beer from his cooler and walks up to the front sets down shuts the door and drives us back to the campground...
Blvd Nutcracker is my favorite even the last 2 years of it have sucked! It unfortunately is the 1 beer I can't make a good clone of and brew myself.
I'm shaving a few pounds now so it's down to a bud 55 every now and then.
My old rig I built.
Try deep frying the corn tortillas for a few seconds until they start to bubble up a bit. They will be in between hard and soft as far as shells go. Then make up some seasonings and sprinkle on the outside of the hot shells (taco seasoning, garlic, smoked paprika...)
I like tacos with sliced Avocados
It was just over
It was just over 17''. I tried to take a pic of it on the golden rule but it flopped and it shows it to be shorter than it is.
However this pic with the fish held out away from me has to be the worst pic ever as far as it making the fish look smaller than it actually was!
How did you rig the crawlers? I was going to try them on a 1/8 oz jig head ?
My favorite is the Rage Lobster. It holds up a lot better than the crawl and they consistently put more fish in the boat for me than other brands of baits.
In fact the other day I was fishing a Zoom Hog in Green Pumpkin and was only catching dinks once it fell apart I replaced it with a Rage Hog in the same color and casted it in the same spot I had just casted the Zoom and caught a 5# on the following cast I got a 4# in the same spot.At the end of the day I was still using the same Hog and had caught Dozens of fish on it with this 4# the last fish of the day. I'd say I got my money out of this one.
I got a pair of polarized UA glasses off the bay the other day for $40 and they are GREAT! They have the Brown polarized lenses and I can see fish way better with them than my other 2 pairs of UA glasses or my Strike Kings.
I made it to Paola Today. I got to fish a little thanks to the wife going to help watch the kids. I ended up with 2 fish a 1.5#? lmb and this toothy creature.
I'm actually going to Paola in the morning mainly to try out my new(er) motor. I'm taking my 2 kids age 2 & 5 so I may not get a chance to fish.
If anyone is looking for a small outboard I have a 1963? Evinrude 18 hp Fastwin. It will start by the first or second pull almost every time. $400 obo
I was born and raised in Paola and it's one lake I can almost guarantee I'll get skunked at. I've caught a 35# Flat and have seen 65+ flats caught out of that lake but I have NEVER had any luck bass fishing at that lake.
I went to the state lake Yesterday and as I was backing my boat into the ramp the Game Warden showed up to shock the lake. Needless to say we didn't catch a lot & unfortunately I wasn't able to stay long enough to find out what they shocked up.
They are great reels that look nice and "blingy" with all the chrome and red! I recently lost one of my Lew's TP's and I'm going to replace thees for those. Mainly because I like the big handles on the Lew's for my jig rods.
$120 tyd each. They are 7.1 gear and both look NEW. I still have the box... for them.
It came just like it is. I have 2 of them I'd sell they are both used but in NEW condition with box. http://www.tackletour.com/reviewquantum2009reelspre.html
I don't keep track but I'm trying. I got a thing to keep track but I can't remember to push the button after I catch a fish.
My guess would be several hundred
They are what they are, the top of the line $60 rod. I like mine a lot but it could use better guides or at least better guide placement. If you flex the rod hard the line will actually go under the blank. But all and all that's my main gripe.
