  1. I work in Derry and have done many camps dewinterizing them around the lake as I am a plumber. Also was wondering not to take away from the original topic, but if I park at the beach on the lake can I bring my canoe over to the beach and launch?
  2. Went out today in the 25 mph winds fished rattle traps and swim jigs and absolutely slayed them. 9 fish total all within 3 hours. FALL FISHING IS ON TODAY

  5. Just fished Moore reservoir today fished. It hard with red and white gigantic paddle tail swimbaits for pike. Had 1 pike netted he was roughly 33 inches and we had a big follower. Definetly a fun trip all fish were caught in coves or inlets roughly 10-15ft of water in 58 degree water temp range.
  6. Any way you could post a pic of your setup with the cooler?
  7. I'm not really interested in side imaging mostly just I want one with a gps plotter and down imaging. The cooler sounds like a good idea

  9. Hey guys recently been wanting to add a fish finger setup to my canoe I was gonna invest a good chunk of money into one that has the countour maps and plotter as well. The canoe does not have a electric motor so paddling will be main source of movement also if possible I would like to make it moveable as I have a v hull boat aswell. Also my canoe is a 12ft aluminum canoe
  10. Will look into rust yea I've come to find out the offshore in 8-15ft of water is where the bass are

  18. I don't think there was a scale put there's this picture of someone who caught a 10lb+ bass outta a trout pond in NH I can't say what it actually weighed but it looks huge. Also my cousin caught this big largemouth in NH it was about 7.5 and my gramps caught 2 bass back in the day the hold the northwood lake record in NH at 8lbs 14oz and 8lbs even is there other mounted fish
  19. It has been a bit quiet haven't really caught anything of size a few 3s but a lot of numbers recently went up to Moore reservoir in search of some pike caught atleast 15 smallies the whole trip great body of water and we found a dead 36 in pike there aswell. So we figured they were in the northern part of the lake.
  20. No I meant like depth wise under the water like what it will run at. Haha I'm going for pike this weekend would this technique work in that application? Also boat wise how do you go about controlling it do you just drive in a straight pattern or do you do a zig zag type movement
  21. Hey guys I will be going up north this weekend fishing. Gonna troll a little bit and fish conventional lures casting. When trolling I was going to use my baitcast we 7' med heavy action with 12 lb mono if I was to troll effectively how much line should I let out to achieve desired depth? Say between 15-25 ft rough estimate my lure will most likely be a keitech 5 in swimbait. Any tips would help just wanna troll the most effective way I can. Also boat control as well how to steer the boat to effectively cover water etc... Thanks Mike
  22. Hey guys, will be headed up Moore reservoir the 24th of this month to go after some pike. Never really targeted them before, but we are hoping to get on atleast 1. I will be taking my 14ft v hull with 6hp motor and trolling motor on the lake so trolling is an option. Plan of attack was spoons in line spinners, and spinnerbaits around 15-20ft ledges depending on water temp. Any thoughts or tips or what I should throw or spots anything to help me out would be great thanks guys. - Mike
  23. Hey guys in a couple weekends will be headed down towards the Potomac river targeting Muskie and Pike. Now I know big spinnerbait and spoons are ideal for this type of fishing but anyone have an idea as to where they may be? Any tips be appreciated
  24. If you go straight across from the main boat launch you'll see an island to your right hand side fish all the way from there about 20 yards out from the shoreline there's a good weed line and rocks there if you make your way more down towards the right from there you'll see a little cut through that has 2 islands on both your right and left hand sides fish in there. If you can and paddle for a far ride all the way at the back end of the lake where the off sure campgrounds are I've seen guys go out there and pull in 30-40 smallie days around the islands out there and the deep ledges. Here's some of the smallie I caught there they are all general this size but at the LL Cote.... "Highly recommend stopping there" there is a picture of someone who caught a 7lb largemouth out of the lake. Here are the photos best of luck
