  2. I don't think your message sent it's not popping up in my PMs
  3. At least give me a direction man haha I googled old bass hatcheries in Northwood NH even pulled up maps and looked 5 miles within Northwood haha
  4. My uncles had the camp for almost 30 + years now he has fished everywhere around Northwood and he knows Northwood lake like the back of his hand except a lot of new cover has been recently appearing and we recently found a sunken island small randomly in the lake. This spot has been producing us major bass in the past year my uncle caught a 4lb smallie here last year.
  5. Funny you say that haha I fish Northwood Lake religiously lol. I have a camp up there and we fish it all summer last year my uncle was killing them on Jigs and Texas Rig Worms. My Great Grandpa holds the record on the lake at 8lb 14oz and 8lb 6oz large mouth on the lake. Hopefully gonna catch some big ones this year on the lake I have a few spots that I know for a fact hold some big ones on the lake.
  6. I rigged one of the craws up to see if I did the rig correctly. Is this correct?
  7. This is what I did pick up from my excursion though. Gonna be slaying them hogs this year just waiting for ice out. April can't come fast enough
  8. Exactly dude I applied for a job there and didn't get it do to availability, but some of the staff my god they had know idea where anything was I helped 3 customers before 1 associate could help one. All in All though very nice store
  9. BPS Pro Qualifier came in the mail today feels perfect on my 7'0 Medium/Heavy Rod can't wait to rip some lips on the Rage Craws. Also bought another 7'0 medium rod for my spinning combo for some Spinner bait and Texas Rig Fishing. April hurry your A** up man I am ready to fish.
  10. Most tournaments don't allow the use of tiller motors. Mostly because they do not have a safety guard where if you fly over the boat the motor will not stop.
  11. I just wanna enter tournaments as a non boater. I think it be fun I just can't seem to find any clubs that would accept non boaters.
  12. I just would like to fish Winni and other big lakes more only fish them couple times a season. I fished a couple tournaments there with my uncle as well. By the way anyone know of any bass clubs that will take in Non Boater anglers to do tournaments and stuff? Would love to fish more tourneys this year I fished 3 of them in 2010 with my uncle, but I would love to get into it more.
  13. I wanna get a bass boat. Been looking on craigslist for a used one for 1500-2500 bucks
  14. I just can't wait to do some jig fishing. Hopefully get on some hogs
  15. I was looking at that rod too. My new setup is a pro qualifier on a 7 ft medium heavy ugly stick. I like the feel of the whole setup and I feel like with my 6 ft medium setups for my spinning gear I lose a lot of edge with Spinner Baits and Texas Rigs which is mainly what I use. That's why I wanna get a 7 ft rod to have another setup that's ideal for what I am doing.
  16. Nothing to expensive too be honest I love my ugly stick compared to most rods that I have tried they are cheap and they get the job done. I was thinking about getting a Medium 7 ft Ugly Stick
  17. Also was thinking about purchasing a 7 ft medium spinning rod for one of my spinning reels for my Spinner Baits and Texas Rigged worms? Thoughts??
  18. Thanks for the tips. Also to let everyone know my setup came in today. Then Friday I will be hitting Bass Pro to pick up some jigs and some rage craws.
  19. What do you use for lighting to see?
  20. So I went ahead and for the past few days I have read through all 75 pages of this thread and have gained valuable info from even the time I first posted on here. One question that I can't believe I haven't asked yet because I am the question king on this forum. Haha sorry about that by the way guys, but my question was is what are some tips do you have for night fishing. Setups, what you bring, how you approach night fishing. I have done it once, but this year I would love to do it some more because I know you can catch some pigs at night.
  21. Purchased the BPS Pro Qualifier and a Med/Hev 7'0 Ugly Stick Casting rod total cost was about 120 bucks. Picking up some Rage Craws and some Stanley Jigs next week. Can't wait for the new season gonna have a whole new approach on things going for the Hog this year gotta beat my PB going for the 8lber this year. Also gonna be focusing on my Spinner bait skills along with my Jig skills this season to master them.
  22. I actually was thinking that would be a good choice it has 810 5 star reviews and I was thinking about getting a 7' MH ugly stick rod to go with it. Figured it would be a good setup for me trying to get into the bait casters again.
  23. Was looking into this http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Tourney-Special-Rod-and-Reel-Baitcast-Combo/product/1209270507094/ Any Suggestions?
  24. Might end up getting a bait caster rig after all anyone have any suggestions on a good setup? for 100 bucks maybe even a good combo.
  25. Also I don't know if it is a saltwater rod as well the metal guides are throwing me off looks like it might be made for offshore stuff.
