  1. That looks like an interesting course. It would be nice just to have so you could do small fishing charters if you ever wanted to. So if you pass it do most guides find job fields or start their own business?
  2. I don't know about pay haha, but if you ever need a fishing buddy haha I'll tag along plan on fishing the Nashua River hard this year gonna start there in April hopefully I will get on some good size bass if I can find the right spots. I sure am itching to try my new jig setup.
  3. Sh** I should get into the guiding business haha. That's where all the money is lol
  4. I wish I had a 25hp for my little v hull. Than my bass boat would fly haha, but I ain't made of millions so my 6hp will just have to get the job done.
  5. Where would I find the older posts? Or did you mean just older posts on this thread because I have read all the posts and I will say I have learned a lot. Especially this year now that I have the Rage Craw in my arsenal never got around to it. I plan on fishing it exclusively for a while to get the feel of it and make it a confidence bait.
  6. Hopefully he'll let me in on some tips on fishing it I caught my PB outta there. I have an idea where some of the bass are, but I think there are some deep pockets I haven't found that would be gold mines.
  7. I hope so I am going for submerged cover all year. Gonna try hard to work the Nashua River for the secret Honey Holes. I know there is a pig in there caught my PB there and I feel there are bigger ones in there in hidden places.
  8. Pshh remember Shane Under dogs always come out on top ill get that 10lber haha
  9. My first fish wasn't caught till April 26th. Hopefully I get my 8lber in April lol
  10. Hopefully April proves to be warm and gets the water temps up. I wanna catch a Pig this April pushing the 8lb+ mark
  11. I ordered mine online I believe I got free shipping on my Pro Qualifier as well.
  12. Hopefully this year I can really get into some ponds and lakes around here and try to figure them out well. I just gotta find a good place around here. I feel as though Pratt pond might be a good option in Mason, NH everyone I have heard that goes there doesn't go offshore to much. I will be fishing the Nashua River a lot this year as well now that I have a good fuel efficient car to get down there.
  13. Reason I got into jigging is so I can expand offshore with a bait made for bottom fishing. Hopefully I can land some hogs this summer moving into deeper structure and cover this year.
  14. Anyone got any pointers for fishing deep? What do you classify deep as in NH?
  15. Haha it's all good I got what you meant. They are very popular they're cheap and get the job done.
  16. I love my Ugly Stick haha. If you all wanna donate your Ugly Sticks to me I'll take them haha.
  17. 1 more month fellas. Hopefully March will bring warm weather and hopefully be fishing by the second week in April.
  18. It's ok I bought 3 when I was there and 2 Live Target Frogs. Now I have 8 Colors of Rage Craws and about 10 Jigs. Along with an Ass load of spinner baits and buzz baits and about 8 different colors of Berkeley Power Bait Worms. I'd say I am good for the season lol
  19. How does the rod trade in work? Do you get like store credit or something?
  20. I like the store I have been 3 times now. I really like the hunting section, but the one thing I really loved was the mounts and the paintings of the store I think they were better than the foxboro store. I also made a trip up there this week. Picked up some Live Target frogs and also saw they added the Pearl and Black Blue Flake Rage Craws. So I picked up those and a White Half Oz Jig. I got enough rage tails spinnerbaits and worms to last 3 seasons haha.
  21. Up at the camp today. No fishing, but I went out to my neighbors bob house on the lake and they were catching perch left and right. Never seen so many bob houses on Northwood in my life
  22. My Dad's good friend has a camp on Great East. I remember fishing it as a kid. There used to be an island with wild blueberries on it we used to pick. Also I remember there being a little cove with a good amount of lily pads that we used to throw poppers and jitterbugs in there near dusk and bass would be going nuts.
  23. Last time I went I really hit that cove and a lot of the docks, but I would love to hit the deeper parts and some of the submerged stuff see if I can pull a hog.
