  1. He pulls out the hundred round at .45 seconds.
  2. To hell with the gun. Drop 200 on a chainsaw!!! I used to keep one by my bed, until my wife made me stop before my son was born. Nothing will scare the bejesus out of a intruder more then that ominous crank, crank, Rrrrrrrrrnnnnnnn. Id sooner face down a gun than a chainsaw. Cause you can bet, that chainsaws gonna hurt a heck of a lot more than a bullet. Its a psychological defense system.
  3. Been to busy at work to hunt. :( I didnt even get to go once!! :(
  4. I conceal carry 2 glock 17s. I have owned 9s, .40s, and .45s of all 3 you can dump the clip in a nine fastest. Get some hot loaded deep cut hollows in a 9mm and it will stop anything that a .45 will. Ive never been able fo understand the obsession with larger caliber handguns for self defense. A 9mm hollow will do more than enough damage to neutralize a target, when placed in the cranial cavity or in center mass. If you cant place your shot where you want it, then a larger caliber is not going to make any difference. I would stick with a 9mm and save your money. Thats just me though.
  5. .45 ACP with Glaser rounds. They wont go through a second layer of drywall. Its a hollow point filled with shrapnel suspended in Teflon. When impacting a soft target it will leave around a 1/2 in. entry hole and if at close enough range a basketball sized exit hole. Once the hollow point starts to expand and the shrapnel relases it devistates any organs or tissue in its path and causes MASSIVE internal bleeding. They also make it in 9mm and .40 caliber. Regardless of which handgun you purchase make sure you go to the range and become proficient with said weapon. Also remember there is a huge difference between shooting at a target and shooting at a possibly armed intruder. Adrenaline and nerves play a huge role in facing armed opposition. Letting emotions get in your way and not focusing 100 percent on your target will get hurt or killed. Do NOT shoot to injure your target, your objective is to neutralize the threat, and a wounded target is still a threat. You have as little as two seconds to aim and hit your target, not 10 seconds not five seconds you have at most around two. Unless you can get the drop on them. Hence why a shotgun is one of the most viable home defensese systems available. If I were you I would look more towards a 12 or 20 guage pistol grip shotty over a handgun. You have a much greater chance of hitting your target. Kind of a point and click type thing.
  6. Irish by 10. Bama takes the first half ND comes back and dominates the 2nd.
  7. Yes it does. The next best alternative ive found to avoid chaffing is wearing compression shorts instead of regular drawers.
  8. Wow all the Milwaukee hate. Ive been using cordless milwaukees for the last seven years. Ive never had one breakyet. Ive replaced the brushes in some, but thats minor. Now their new brushless tools, I really want. Eventually Ill start upgrading to those. Their m12 series is also great for smaller jobs. Ive been running those for the last 3 years and have only had to replace the batteries this past year. Corded tools I either go with Dewalt or Metabo. I havent founded anything that comes close to the metabo cut off grinder. The big half inch wrist breaker drill dewalt has is a staple of most electrical companies around here. Be it residential or commercial. However Im starting to think my six year old milwaukee mag drill has about the same amount of ommph that the big dewalt does. Grinders I really havent noticed a difference between any of the brands. In my case my Milwaukee loyalty could also have to do with its what I have always used since Ive been in the trade. Having never gotten a lemon helps too.
  9. Which is exactly why I wear it, or my kilt. The breeze it lets in is a added bonus.
  10. I have the opposite problem. My small gut isnt the problem my legs are big enough that I cant get Lee, Wrangler,or most Levis over my thighs. When I can find a pair that go over my thighs its like wearing a pair of denim tights. And it aint got nothing to do with my butt. I have a small cute butt. Least thats what Ive always been told.
  11. Wow I almost wet myself when I read this. Nice to see you have moved back away from the sweet teary eyed post.
  12. Well we were hitting the bottle pretty hard that night, and well you know how it goes.... :D :D
  13. Not a problem. Im a bit high strung right now. I've been kind of flying off the handle over stupid and little things lately. Which should all stop by the end of the month. My apologies for the rant of post earlier. I totally flipped off the handle with that, and you didnt deserve that. Again Im sorry. As far as work. Im an electrician/iron worker that does pipe fitting too. I have specialized my welding in process piping and stainless. We do a lot of shutdowns, and various other construction. With a bunch of travel. I just seem to get brought in on the projects when they get behind. So I end up working lots of hours and lots of crappy hours. Its all good though I love what I do. I would kill for a job doing construction for the oil industries. I want to get into that field more than anything else. That is one of my two dream jobs right now. The other is to work shut downs at the refineries. The new construction though is what appeals the most to me. Its just getting on with one of the companies doing it. Hopefully I can be doing something in that field by the end of the year. 32 an hour plus 150 a day per diem adds up extremely quick. Especially working 80 hour weeks. Thats for the shutdown work. I havent looked much into what they are paying the contractors for new construction.
  14. Now where did you find my pretty pink tutu? I have been looking all over for that thing.
  15. I think my buddy still has mine. If so I'll have him mail it to you.
  16. Carhartt all the way. The other brands dont seem to hold for as long as the Carhartts do.
  17. The Denali was bought for HER. I explained that in a different post. The first was just joking around. Also there is no your money my money, its OUR money. She works part time so as to be able to be with our son before and after school. It saves us a ton not havibg to pay for day care. As for getting booty. I get more than enough as is. This is just bonus, and dont try and be romantic about it. Its for pleasure not an expression of love. As for my extra curricular activities. My time is divided between family and work. Free time is few and far between, half the time I work 12 plus hour days. On the rare occasions like these past 4 months 85% of my work has been between 8 and 10 hours a day five days a week. Usually I see my family for 2-3 hours a day. The rest of the time I talk with them on the phone. So if she didnt "let" me do those activities there would be no marriage. If and when you get married. Go work 12-16 hours a day 7 days a week for between 3-6 months. Heck go work 5 12 hour days, yet cant see your wife and child because you are 600 miles from home. Go and demand from your wife that its YOUR time and you can do whatever you dang well please. I'll bet the barn you will be on the street and she will own half your stuff. I saw my wife a total of 104 days the first year of our marriage. Because I was working I disagree off to support us. So yeah SHE does get to decide what I/WE do when Im in town. Dont judge me based on your flawed view of what a marriage is. Does that make me less of a man, because I work my tail to the bone, and let my wife dictate what I do when Im around? If so then I guess Im one large half a man.
  18. After reading the ehow article. That sounds kind of sketchy and probably dangerous. The concept is cool. I would like to try it. But I dont think Im man enough to try it alone.
  19. If it does pop. It should only be a small pop and some leakage from the cells. I could be wrong. I am about to look it up though. Im curious now.
  20. Worst it will do is ruin the already dead battery. Its just 12VDC.
  21. Because I just dropped 1200 on a new TIG welder. 80 on four new wrenches. 35 on a new screw driver set. 750 on two new beating wrenches, and 3 dollars on a new set of safety glasses. She leaves me alone as far as my tools go, and never questions me on those purchases. In return She gets to call the shots on the other stuff. She lets me play rugby without complaing, go to the gym for extended periods of time, and take whatever supplement or chemical for my lifting that I choose without any complaints. So thusly Im more than happy to let her call the shots. Thats not to mention the fishing trips I take and tackle and lures she puts up with me buying. Plus If you were getting rewarded the way I am for giving her s new car. You wouldnt question the reasoning behind me letting her call the shots.
  22. Found an 2010 murdered out black ss camaro yesterday. I want that car so bad it aint funny. Oh well. Only 2 years til I can afford it.
  23. Heres you a pic of one of our big ol masonry drill. It has one of our smaller bits on it. Once the bit size increases, you have to put it in a mount.
  24. That aint bad on for some 18 volt tools. I gave 200 a piece for my milwaukee drill and impact. Both wirh charger case and 2 batteries. But I also use mine for a living. Skil makes some good tools. I have one of their jigsaws that is close to ten years old now and still running strong.
  25. Glad it all works now. Out of curiosity is it aluminum wire on the receptacles?
