  4. You have to remember I get a heck of a workout at work before I even go to the gym. Most the time its like im working out all day. Then im going and doing a more intense version at the gym.

  6. Bench 385. Power cleans 420. Leg press 1100 3 rep max. I dont do squats or dead lift. I did enough of those in school. Height 6ft 1.5in. Weight 275. I lost five lbs. since Sunday. BF% 14.8 as of three weeks ago.
  7. That is awesome. Gotta love working out with the big boys. Gym etiquette was huge at the first gym I went to. Those men didnt mess around about it either. That is the only draw back to the big fitness club chains its multiple people learning it at the same time. As opposed to maybe one or two. I miss my body building gym. The camaraderie was awesome. Everyone would push each other to do better.It didnt matter if you had a lifting buddy or not, because someone would always be willing to spot you. Plus you could yell, grunt loudly, and go insane pumping eachother and yourself up and no one thought it was weird, or"scared" people. I just miss that aatmosphere. I mean they dont even know what or will get bands and chains at my current gym.
  8. They are their for people like me that are extremely narcissistic and vain. I cant help it I like watching my muscles while im working out. Its a ego trip for me. I used to use them for watching my form. Now that I have that down I just ogle myself. Oh and I will still be doing that as an old man too. I just love myself that much.
  9. Naw its rage. I will acknowledge that. Its just not from anabolics. Im just ready for them to leave my sanctuary. I used to go to a differnt gym during this time of year. It was a little hole in the wall place. However they closed up a couple years ago.

  11. I absolutely despise yuppies and frat boys with all my being!!!!!! I understand the new year is still young, but really hurry up and give up on your stupid resolutions to get in shape. My God the gym is not the place forbyour stupid social hour. Blocking the benches and mirrors staring and talking about the girls on the tread mills upstairs. NOBODY CARES!!!!! Some of us are actually TRYING to lift. I realize thats a novel concept for someone to go to a gym to do that. But some of us do. GRRRRRRRRR!!!!! Also, I am not your "bro" dont ******* call me that! I hate that phrase more than most anything! Easy bro calm down. Hold on bro I got one more set. Im about to hit the next one that calls me that with a 45lb plate across the face. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!! Rant over.
  12. In my heavily secured and double fenced storage room under my town home. I have it inside a 6x12 welded steel cage made from quarter inch angle iron with 1/4in angle iron bars, and 1/8 in thick plexiglass. The plexiglass has been sealed for water proofness. Same on the door with three round locks and built in dead bolt on the door. All the rounds are stored in sealed ammo cans and vaccum sealed plastic ammo boxs. All of which reside on shelving and 1/2 in thick rubber mats on the steel floor. Which is raised two inches from the ground to prevent water entry. Dissident bags are added and removed monthly to insure the air within stays dry. It also has a dehumidifier which is used during the humid summer months. I have gone to great lengths to insure my ammo vault is as safe and tamper proof as possible. Not only for my investment. But also for any childrens safety, particularly my sons. Should he ever somehow get into the unit.

  14. Finally someone with some good taste in home defense. Im telling you nothing says "wrong house buddy" quite like a motorized tree destroyer.
  15. If your looking to sell now is the time. You may get 1 or 2 hundred more dollars in a few months. However once all this subsides the price is going to bottom out again. The gun market as far as "black guns", ARs, and what not is very cyclical. It hits highs and lows just like the stock market does. Once panic sets in is the time to sell. As soon as it subsides the prices bottom out. If it makes you feel more secure wait a month and see what prices do. However, the longer you wait the more likely the prices will drop. If you can sell it now for 3000 you should jump on that and never look back.

  17. I hear that. Congrats on joining your first gym. The best advice I can offer are these four things. First know that just getting to the gym is over half the battle. You have to push yourself to go sometimes. I still do. Its easy to say "Aww Ill just skip today and hit it hard tomorrow" then the next thing you know you havent been in two weeks. Focus on your form. Forget heavy weights. Work with light weights until you get your form down. Using bad form is extremely counter productive to what you are trying to accomplish, and will not get you the results you are after. It can also get you hurt. Block everything else out of your mind and focus on the muscles you are working and the form you are using. Stick to weights you can handle. Your not there to impress anyone else. Your there to improve your health, well being, and body. Lifting more than you can handle is counter productive and can cause injuries. Lastly, dont get discouraged over how other people look and be self conscious. Everyone was just starting out once. Also everyone is usually so focused on what they are doing that they are not looking at how other people in there look. One more lastly. Dont get discouraged over weight loss and weight gain. If you are lifting then your going to gain muscle as well as lose fat. Lean muscle weighs more than fat does. Take measurements of your body and only weigh once a week. You will be suprised how much difference that can make, when you can actually see your progress as opposed to a number on a scale. Have fun with it and enjoy it.   20. Well I gained back 15lbs to 280 over the christmas and new years holidays. Im so ashamed. However its coming off quick. I dropped 10 lbs last week. I have readjusted my goals. Im shooting for 235 by May. Im also hoping to hit 3% body fat by that time. Its gonna be a helluva fight but im gonna try my best to make it. Supplements have mostly stayed the same. Im cycleing off for 4 weeks at the end of January and starting my cut and estrogen blockers for that four week period before cycling back on for 12 weeks. Its going to be my longest cycle and am hoping for great things. According to my doctor ive discovered the perfect mix to increase hormone levels and increase fat loss. Im so proud of myself. All my research and trial and error is actually paying off. Now as for working out. Let me say I am a freaking BEAST. My one rep maxs and increases are as follows. My bench press has gone from 315 in october to 385 as of today. Power cleans have gone from 330 to 420. My leg press has gone from a 3 rep max of 900 up to 1100. Those are the only maxs I do. So yeah I feel great about my progress. Plus I have lost 50lbs since october. Its amazing what hard work will do for you.
  21. You will absolutely hate a 4cyl wrangler. They are so under powered it would blow your mind. Id opt for a older chevy 4x4. Or if your feeling it a subaru brat. I want one of those so bad.

  23. My first off day in 2 weeks. Im laying out in the driveway sunning myself. Ive played magnolia cone golf with my pitching wedge. Eaten a Hershey bar. Researched a plant. And watched my son climb his first tree. Life doesnt get any better than this. I believe I will go fish for a few hours in a little bit. I tell you what. Those stickera and shirts got it all wrong. Life aint good. Its Great.

  25. LOL Ahhh but this darling of a plant is what prevents that from happening. PS I go on a six week supplement hiatus at the end of this month. Hopefully I will return to my normal surly self in a few more weeks. Now to go attend to my chocolate craving, im feeling kind of bloated today. Dang creatine.
