Heck Man, a game is a game. My son loves to go to the Brockton Rox game and they have no affiliation to an MLB team!
Must have been nice to get out with dad and your daughter?!
grampa Trup, I couldn't agree with you more, I'm hoping not too long after the 4th I can shed some commitments!
As always, I have nothing but good wishes for you and your family!
I always enjoyed Lincecum pitch, unfortunatley I can only see him on a limited basis, but he always had great stuff.
Kind of reminds me of Clay Buchholz. Skinny kids that look like they weigh 145 lbs soaking wet with cowboy boots on, but on mound they can be unhittable. You think to yourself, "How?"...LOL
June 26th and I went fishing for the first time this year. Are you kidding me, I've never started this late! My life can't be that busy.
Good luck fellas!
If you're doing a Body For Life diet, check out the body for life treadmill cardio. Low impact HIIT workout. I mixed those in when my son's baseball season was in full swing. It's a great way to end your workout session.
I'm not sure those wires would last up here with the way peeps are stealing all things metal and copper. Heck, I opened my house in ME and returned the following week only to find my gas grill was stolen. Funny thing about it is they left the propane tank filled with propane gas. Go figure.
Cool, I wish you nothing but the best of luck...go get em!
I'm about 9 lbs from my weight loss goal of 36 lbs. I hit a bit of a plateau, but I feel great and will be giving my body a rest for the next 2 - 3 weeks or so. This plateau has been a real tough one, but I'm happy that I'm atleast tightening my belt an extra notch here an there. I would like to be able hit my weight loss goal by Labor Day.
Good luck Bud!
If I had to guess the Braves will land Peavy, I seriously doubt that The Cubbies will let Samardzija go. He's got some nasty stuff and he's young, way too much upside potential to let go.
Peavy has been pitching really well all season, the Sox aren't scoring any runs for him.
Forgot to post some pics, but here are 3 from our recent trip to Cooperstown.
My family in front of the Museum:
My son with Teddy Ballgame:
Doubleday Field: Where it all began. We actually took in a game that day and saw a few innings. Not a lot of peeps in attendance, but basically teams can rent the field for the day. 2 teams were playing from a Buffalo men's league that day. It's a gorgeous stadium for sure!
I uploaded most of the pics and created an album in my profile if you're interested to view. It's named "Cooperstown" and it is RED SOX Pic heavy. I will finish uploading the rest this evening.
